And, I think the vortex will be tested again later tonight... there appears to be more cells developing over Fountain Hills that should move in toward your neck o the woods later on... that is, if that vortex doesn't blow 'em out of the sky first....
Started 2 minutes before "Breaking Bad" came on, got the good stuff for about 17 minutes and then it was done. Thankful for every drop.
Very little rain, getting thunder and lightning.
The cool thing is: My new dog, Liam, seems like he could care less about it all.

Nice. When my dog (RIP) was a puppy I always used to take him outside during thunderstorms to get used to it. That way you don't get a scared run-under-the bed pooch.

Heavy rain in south scottsdale
AZCentral puts rainfall total in my area at 1.1 inches.
I believe it - had some minor flooding issues in our laundry room.

Hopefully we get a storm at all. Sprinkles, wind and lightening in the distance just dont do it for me.
Granite Reef looked like a river for a short time there last night. Was pretty awesome.

Nope, I mean Granite Reef. The road was "flowing" last night out front of my house.
Funny how in AZ you don't know you have problems for months ... until it rains. (Had a roof leak earlier this year.)

I know this isn't about Phoenix, but I've had like zilch for rain at my house in Albq for months...monsoon finally hit. It all came at once. Got over an inch in 45 min last night. Pretty good lightning storm too
