Looks like we'll have considerable moisture well into next week. This could be it! (I'm a surprised, because we're not getting any moisture at all from the Pacific. I hope it's not one big monsoon tease ... you know, heavy clouds, no rain.)

I don't even know where you saw them...nothing was around at noon that I saw...and the radar was empty except for Flagstaff :)

Just in case you forget what they look like. This was taken a few minutes ago off the back stoop. Rains already moving in from the west. Hopefully it will last awhile. The plus is the temp gauge is reading 78 degrees.
Damn I miss living in Buckeye this time of year.

I hope you all get a nice cooling monsoon shower over there.

Looks like some good storms moving down from the north already...if they hold together, looks like it could hit most of Phoenix.

Look out towards Red Mountain. They're forming. Slowly.

Still in San Diego but leave for home tomorrow morning... :(

Just spoke with a friend who lives in Carefree and he says the skies are dark and the smell of rain is in the air! C'mon baby!

Seems like that light blue is always there though...

It's the darker shades I'm looking at -- closer to sea blue than light blue. You can see it starting to collect as that storm cell approaches Phoenix.

From the looks of the clouds I see from afar, they are looking pretty sad...no thunderheads, mostly the tops of them blowing over....

Usually the good storms tend to come in as the thunderheads...when you see it like it is now, it's usually dying out...

I hope not though.
