This storm is toast. You can see it breaking up as it hits the valley floor. Just too hot and not quite enough moisture. Dang.

Hopefully this moisture stream continues before another major high pressure front moves in, so all this uncollected stuff doesn't get carried elsewhere.

Dewpoint is 59 degrees this morning.

Of course, AZCentral doesn't say much about us getting anything today...but what do they know really?

Raining in Prescott Valley

Just got a really nice thunderstorm with hail in Prescott Valley. Woo hoo. I missed the thunderstorms.

Edit---- SO far since today it is supposed to rain on and off we have received .12 inches of rain. We needed that.

Another good cell just passed through my area. Now up to .43 inches so far for today. The last cell was bringing a nice down pour at .8 inches an hour. :)

P.S. It just started raining again! :)

You won't see any real rain before the 20th of July. Mark my words.

What are the chances the cells over Payson make it down our way?? The HUGE Thunderheads are cool, but I want ACTION!

It didn't rain yesterday in my part of Tempe.

My sister mentioned the other day that she didn't go to the beach last weekend. I asked her why not and she said that it was raining. I had forgotten how the weather in Jersey could make you totally change your weekend plans. :)
