I was talking to a guy I work with who just moved here from NY. We were joking about how everyone from AZ should spend April in the northeast and then let us know how much they like rain, lol.
I know I will eventually miss rain and look forward to it, but I'm not quite there yet.
I can't say that I "miss" the rain... The reality is you never really get rain when you want or in the amounts you want no matter where you live...
I grew up just outside NYC, and always felt that we had too much rain, too much gray...
I lived in Chicago and felt that way even more.
I lived in TX and it seemed to rain on less days than NY & Chicago, whenever it did rain it was all-out, all-day downpours... The kind that ruin your plans for the day or the weekend... Not to mention the humidity...
I was just in San Diego for 8 days and am more convinced than ever that they have the all around best weather in the entire country...
Dry but not too dry. They get more rain than Scottsdale, but much less than NYC & Chicago...
Always a beautiful breeze. It's perfect...
