You were so right Mike

:biglaugh:

Good call....it just needs to keep building to the north. That is a monster outflow boundry moving up from those storms in tucson though. I can't ever remember seeing one with the darker shades of green in it....only occasionally light green.

I'm sure after I said that before anything is even here, I'll get screwed, but still...it sure looks good out there for SOMETHING.

Damn I hope this cell will hit us even a bit...looks like we may catch the tail end of it.

Dust storm is pretty sick though, much better than the first one last Monday

Whatever happened to the days of dust followed by rain? Now all our weather consists of is dust? WTF? It is funny to see all of the trash cans that neighbors left out sailing down the street though. Its almost better than rain. It will be hilarious to see the pile of cans in one guys yard tomorrow morning.

I was thinking the same thing...I can't even go outside yet to wait for the rain because it's SO FREAKING THICK WITH DUST...

Step outside and it's just like breathing in pure dirt...

Bill Kelly just said in the past hour this entire storm, from the south border to here has had 4000 cloud to ground lightning strikes...

Also, this big one just hit...I may be unplugging some stuff.

I'll never forget as a kid when our tv got fried days before the 1984 Summer Olympics. When my dad revived the thing, it was just as Mary Lou Retton was kicking ass and taking names. We unplugged our appliances for the next 10 years during storms.
