Sorta looks like they'll miss us to the south?? :bang:

I dunno, the ones in the FAR SE are moving towards us, and could change the direction of the storms east of us...

I think the flow tends to change as they head west...towards the NW.

It's really weird to watch them move sometimes. They'll come down from the rim really hot and fast and slow down in the FAR SE, then hook back around. If they have enough steam, they'll cook right back northwest.

I've seen storms that have rained in the same place in chandler three separate times during early evening. Just keep getting bounced around and redirected.

That one Gee posted is better...although it shows you too much detail sometimes, making you think there is more there.

However, you can have it auto-update, it has shorter times between updates...so I like it better.

Also, these storms, if they hold together, are looking pretty strong.

They don't look really like they'll turn NW...but something is developing east of town...

Ya a couple cells are starting to pop out east, hopefully this trend will continue and we can get a nice cluster or line going.

SPC just upgraded us to a slight chance of severe storms through midnight. Looks like there might be more storms developing as those eastrly winds push through the rim.

"WV IMAGERY SHOWS AN UPPER LOW LIFTING NWD INTO SRN NM. GRADIENT BETWEEN THIS FEATURE AND UPPER RIDGE CENTERED OVER THE CNTRL ROCKIES IS CONTRIBUTING TO A BELT OF ELY FLOW ABOVE 3 KM ACROSS NM INTO ERN AND SRN AZ. AS A RESULT...STORMS THAT DEVELOPED OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN ARE SPREADING WWD INTO ERN AND SERN AZ WHERE BOUNDARY LAYER FLOW IS WLY. THE DESERTS OVER SRN AZ ARE MODERATELY UNSTABLE WITH 50S BOUNDARY LAYER DEWPOINTS...SURFACE HEATING AND STEEP LAPSE RATES CONTRIBUTING TO MLCAPE FROM 1000 TO 2000 J/KG. THE DEEPLY MIXED BOUNDARY LAYERS AND STEEP LAPSE RATES WILL SUPPORT A THREAT FOR ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND AND HAIL AS ACTIVITY DEVELOPS WWD NEXT FEW HOURS."

I see a slight buildup towards the northern front of the storm...maybe it will come this way.

I'm down South in Maricopa and there's not much action to report. Hell, the stars have never looked brighter.

That cell to the east just collapsed....not looking good for any rain tonight. But with O leaving Saturday better start preparing for a flood.

Its not coming.. Dave Munsey was just on and said their was hope for it.. And we all know about Dave Munsey..

Then listen to me.

It's building towards us...at least we might get some dust.

Who knows...it's like wrapping upwards...
