Love this rain...at least for a bit.

This rain is keeping me from pouring my back patio.....stupid rain.

OK, we've had just over 3" of rain in the past 24 hours, and for the first time ever, there was just one of those 'honk-honk-honk/highpitched warning hum' interruptions of the radio station making an emergency announcement about flash flood danger in northern Maricopa County, including my north Scottsdale/Cave Creek area. I guess the Cave Creek wash is already at full flood stage, and we may get as much as another inch to two inches of rain before early afternoon. However the radar I just looked at looked like it's lightening up (hmmm...sky doesn't look good, though...)

I live in North Scottsdale... It's 1:50pm and it is raining harder RIGHT NOW than it has at any point in the last 36 hours!!!
My neighbor has a rain gauge and he was at 3.69 inches at 12:30pm today! I have no doubt we'll be over 4 inches by the time this is over... Thunder and Lightening occuring right now too!

I was down on Camelback and 44th this morning and it was quite apparent that they too got pounded.

This is pretty amazing... And the worst of it - just realized we must have a leak in the roof over a bathroom... Dammit...

Wow! What a storm... We didn't quite make it to 4, but my neighbors gauge registered a total of 3.94 inches!

Gonna need a roof guy, as well as someone to take care of the resulting water damage that leaked through into my kids bathroom... Damm that pisses me off!

All the rain came yestreday and all last night... My neighbor registered 1.02 inches! That's a total of 5 inches between last week and this weekend! Good stuff!
Supposedly, more is coming tomorrow afternoon and Monday morning...

We had an inch this last storm, but damn, not 5 inches including last week...more like 2.65 or so.

Yea - we had almost 4 inches from the previousm storm!! If felt like a bunch more actually...

We apparently had a good rain-fall overnite last night as well! I'll have to check with my neighbor later today to get the official amount, but judging from the puddles this morning, it looks like we got some decent measurable precip again!
