They're predicting a foot of snow in Denver, but I don't believe it--I can't feel the pressure change in my knee at all.
So, with the heavy snow anticipated tons of flights were cancelled at DIA.

Guess what? Pariah's knee was more accurate than doplar radar.

No snow. Not a flake.

GORGEOUS day!

This weekend should be fantastic.

Yesterday, I went from being in the middle of a huge duststorm downtown (4:30P) to freezing my ass in shorts and a tshirt at tee ball practice in Anthem (6:00P) to standing in the rain after a shortened practice (6:30P). What a weird day.

We got about three inches of snow at our house last night.

It snowed here as well.

That's what I love about Valley residents. "It rained whaaaa, it got down to 50 degrees, whaaa, it's so cold". Blow me. It was snowing and windy here yesterday.

Screw you.

Now excuse me while I go put on my sweater.

I am really looking forward to a gorgeous weekend. Am thinking about going hiking tomorrow. Should be beautiful!

Snow!!

Went to downtown Prescott for their Cinco De Mayo celebration this morning for the salsa contest (yum) and it snowed pretty good on us. Nothing stuck but it was nice for this former Phoenician to see the snow (IN MAY!?!?!)

Get used to hit. Two years ago was so miserable. It was 100+ for so many days in a row I stopped counting.

When you get your first seat belt burn you'll curse the lord's name in vain. I burned a lady at Taco Bell handing her a quarter that was on my dashboard in the middle of July. Well, I wouldn't say I burned her but she acted like I put a piece of the sun itself on her bare hand

I think it's been 100 already, but anyways, you'll wish you never said that.

Reminds me of when i was a kid and thought my dad was so cool mowing the lawn. So I begged to be able to use the lawn mower sometime.

He let me do it, and I think he was smiling as he did. Once I did it once, it became one of my chores. And then I hated it :)

I moved out here on 5/12/02 and I believe it was 114 degrees that day.

Anyways, I remember a few months later reading back the temperature archives and was amazed that I couldn't distinguish the difference between 85-115 degrees. However, the worst is during Monsoon Season (especially during the month of August), but that isn't as horrible as how the sweltering humidity feels like in the Mid-West and Eastern part of the country.

I would take AZ weather over any other region regardless of any time of year.

Ditto.... I was born and raised in CT, and moved here in 2001. I grew up suffering through cold, dark, dank, rainy and snowy falls, winters and springs just to get the 40 days or so of decent, sunny weather in the late spring, summer and early fall... In my opinion, the weather here in North Scottsdale from late September thru ALL of May and even into June is 100x better than anything I have experienced anywhere else - with the exception being So. California. And who would really want to live in southern California??? Too much fun to play there, but too expensive to live and play there...
I commute every day down to University and I-10, and the temp differential between my home and work is amazing - minimum of 7 to 10 degrees difference in the mornings and early evenings!

I frequently visit my oldest sis and bro-in-law in NorCal (San Jose to be exact) and to me it's beyond too cold there. True, I consider anything below 75-degrees to be cold and practically shiver when the temps are down in the 50s here, so I know I'm the extreme case.

Back in MI I kept my apartment temp around 90 degrees (even in the summer), so that prepared me for triple digit temps.

I just love warm weather. It reinvigorates me.... Cooler temps wasn't what I couldn't tolerate the most about living in MI. It were those days in which at noon it would be 65 degrees and sunny, but suddenly w/in a span of 6-hours later the temps would drop to around 30 degrees and it would be snowing. It was if as though I traveled from the North to South Pole within a matter of a day. I just couldn't deal with that type of range. A 30-degree drop here is tolerable....the exception though would be during the winter, but those nights are quite rare.
