What the heck are you complaining about, Mr. 5.95 inches? Jeez, we've had only one huge storm since Spring, and under 3/4 inch of rain the rest of the summer. I look at the local radar and there's a big clear space around Cave Creek. Bah.

Me: Oh. (went back to sleep)

We got no rain though.

I was joking, last night was dead....not even really any storms around the valley.

The actual weather forecasters are really thinking tonight should be good though, already talking about maybe issuing a severe thunderstorm watch for later this afternoon and tonight.

Don't be so sure, it's moving southwest, but developing west as it goes...kind of weird. There are also some more storms coming from behind it.

Seriously, I am seeing flashes off in the distance,
I think it is going to be an interesting weekend.

Holy CRAP the red cell headed toward me is MASSIVE.

Non stop thunder from the NE...this is scary almost.

Seriously, I've never heard non-stop, rumbling thunder without a break inbetween...this is messed up.

I see a lot of lightning to the south and it is not typical lightning. It looks very intense.

On a side not my dog will no longer go outside so that's a good sign.
