I just hope when ever it starts it's strong enough to make it into the city.

There's some solid action firing up right now up by Prescott and down by Ajo. But, as you say O, getting it to make down into the Valley is very questionable... :bang:

There is an inverted trough moving through the southern part of the state that is gonna really help fire storms late today and should get the storms big enough and have enough winds behind them to push them into the valley. They've bumped the chance of storms up over 50% tonight already.

If I get a storm here in Central Phx tonight, I'm breaking open a bottle of champange!

I hope so too....will soften up the courses for my tourney Sunday-Tuesday. Looks like Sunday night should be another really good night for storms....the official forecast shows Sunday night on being the start of a pretty good monsoon season. They are predicting a 60% chance of an above average monsoon this summer.

Saw a duststorm coming up from the south when I was driving home from work.

It mocks me!

It's kind of popping off some cells NW of that storm, I'm wondering if the outflow will send something to southern Chandler, etc.

I'm all geared up for some lightning photos here in a bit, after traveling for 15 hours back from Holland today, lol :)

I have issues.

Storms rolled in late last night and we got some nice rains and thunder. I live in Marana and it was the first monsoon of the year. Should be active again today.

I have zero confidence I will get anything!

Sorry, O. :(

Been sitting on the front lawn watching the lightning show for almost an hour. The storm is finally here. The raindrops are starting to fall and the thunder is rolling. I am done with being outside now. :)

Spoke too soon. Just went outside again. Storm has shifted. Looks like Tempe and Chandler are getting my storm. Still see wild lightening and hear loud thunder, but it looks like it has passed on.
