Right. Magic Number to beat Padres is 4. Magic Number to win Division is 5 (since Colorado is still alive in that race).

i didnt even think about the rockies since they are a game and a half behind the padres.

Rockies can cap out at 90 wins, so we are pretty close to eliminating them from the Division title as well.

Correct, but the tie breaker only counts if the team that lost the tie breaker still makes the playoffs as the wild card.
