Cole Aldrich posted a triple-double with 13 points, 20 rebounds and 10 blocked shots in a 60-43 win by the defending National Champions over the 11th seeded Dayton Flyers.

Shaquille O'Neal set the NCAA tournament record with 11 blocks in a game for LSU in 1992. Shawn Bradley had 10 in 1991 for BYU. Aldrich's feat was, officially, the sixth triple-double in the history of the tournament.

Aldrich's triple double was the first in Jayhawk history.

Man much as I hate SC I thought they got hosed. Hackett was clearly fouled on that drive, the only question was did he lose the ball before the foul but that wasn't obvious on replay.

then the pac 10 refs working the marquette game hose them. The reason the guy stepped over the line on the inbounds is a Missouri player just grabbed the guy he was going to pass to and his momentum took him over the line when he tried to stop the pass.

Then it sure looked like a foul on that last desperation 3. If you call it, make 2, miss the 3rd and pray for a tipin, by not calling the foul, game is over.

Exciting games but I hate to see refs play such a big part in close games.

Why do they play these games in football stadiums and have to deal with fitting a bball court in a football field and adding all that temp seating...why not just play the games in NBA stadiums (and work something out with the NBA schedule makers like they do for the first 2 rounds?)

In the cbssports.com game, I am ranked 997,782nd in the nation. Louisville is my pick to win it all and my only surviving team. I have lost 9 consecutive picks.

I suck with a capital S, just like every year. If I pick the favorite, they lose. My dogs prove they were right to be dogs. Screw it. Next year, I'm going to generate a random number series and pick according to that sequence.
