Crabtree still debating whether to continue to work on his pro day despite his leg or to just take the surgery now.

Larry English has come in at 275 lbs - huge. I guess he really wants to play in 4-3.

Everette Brown was GENEROUSLY listed at 6-4, turns out he was 6-1. Came in at 256.

Cris Baker came in at a solid 323.

Crabtree IS going to hold off surgery and perform at his Pro Day. Bad decision and chances are if he runs a bad time he will try to use his injury as an excuse.

When are the corners up? My favorite mid-round prospect this year is Joe Burnett of UCF. Decent size, good but not great size but top notch cover skills. Unlike some other CB's we're familiar with if he can get his hands on the ball he's catching it. Also adds value as a punt returner.

Knowshon Moreno put the same bench numbers as Beanie Wells - 25. :) Rashad Jennings comes in second at the bench with an impressive 29 reps. North Carolina's Brooks Foster leads the receivers with 27, and Kenny Britt put up 23. Percy Harvin was nice with 19 reps.

I'm living in Orlando, Fl for a while and have seen several Joe games.

He looks small in the field, and is a lot of times out of position getting burned for TDs more than you would like.

But is an exciting return guy and flashes some ballhawk skills.

Today are the glamour positions - QB, RB, WR. Anyone else going to be watching?

I have a soft spot for Austin Collie. I hope he succeeds in the pros.

These are some of the fastest receivers I've ever seen at the combine.

Maclin can supplant Crabtree as the top receiver if we works out well.

I DRVed it just like yesterday because I just cant do commercials anymore. I am home with both kids too, so I need to be able to pause it from time to time. I try to stay off of here so dont ruin it before I watch it, but it's not working.

Hunter Cantwell = garbage. Of to a terrible start.

You know it was a bad senior QB class when a backup is considered one of the best prospects.

So the QB running the 40-yard dash is the equivalent to those 10K powerwalking races at a track meet? Intermission.

I honestly only want to see the scrambling QBs or potential slash guys run the 40. Seeing Josh Freeman and Hunter Cantwell run = boooooooring. Show us the other drills!

So far, the guy who's impressed me most early on is the Louisville center-guard - Eric Wood (not just the numerical drills but his agility in position drills).

TE Jared Cook had sick numbers, but one book on him is that he: "relies on his athleticism rather than technique to get off the line of scrimmage. Tends to freelance a bit as a route-runner. Can make the spectacular catch, but is prone to lapses in concentration. Marginal effort and effectiveness as a blocker, especially in close quarters.

A word of caution - Outstanding athleticism in the drills is no more and no less than just that - the potential of a guy to become an outstanding football player. What the drills can't show you are things like "wilingness and ability to hit", "consistency of execution" and "ability to produce at crunch time."

What the numbers in the drills are useful for - is in confirming what you saw on tape - i.e. that a player who looked fast enough to run with the big dawgs actually was fast enough.

But the danger, in watching the Combine, is making the drills the end-all. For example, Meredith had sick numbers, but the book on him is that he "plays too high." He may run really really fast, but unless he learns to get the pad level lower, he may find himself out of football before long.

Louis Vasquez was the Day One bench press leader, but the question is: "How will that translate onto the field?" (Currently he's rated somewhere around 10th as a guard by some analysts, but is also described as "a tough guy who may start by Year 2" - which makes that bench press number more meaningful within that context.

Bottom Line - The Combine sure am fun.

With Whiz's love for trick plays, do you think Pat White would have a place on this roster?

Pettigrew might have been slow in the 40, but he looked great in the pass catching/run drill.

His agility drills were some of the tops in the TE group though. Great 3 cone times.
