Official Predict the Cardinal Record Thread

Preseason is over. The Cardinals are a few days away from their first regular season game. It's time to predict the Cardinals final record.

Please just post your prediction and limit posts that have nothing to do with your prediction. We will use this as a way to go back and see what everyone thought at the begining of the season.

I'll start off with a prediction of

6-10

The cards needed to stay healthy and that didn't happen. They already lost 2 starters on defense for the entire season. The offense is still young and will struggle.

With a little (good) luck:

7-9

Without any luck:

6-10

With a few bad breaks:

4-12 or 5-11

Is everything
I'll go with:

7-9

With a few lucky bounces we can have a winning record - but we don't usually get the lucky bounces.

I hope I am wrong and that we will have a winning season.

I think most people would be pretty stoked to get to 8-8 this year...but I think that's doable...as long as we stay healthy..I think we'll learn alot about the Cards chances watching Sunday's game...good or bad..

7-9. The season begins with a win at Detroit, and ends with two straight losses to drop out of the wild card race.

7-9, this means a 7-9 where we always have a consistent effort every game, and barely lose some very close games..... I still think we are at least a year or two away from the playoffs, but who knows? Luck and good fortune play as much in a good season as skill.

8-8, anything less this season is a disappointment IMO.

I think 6 or 7 wins is more realistic but I am an optimist. :)

7-9 is my prediction based solely on the easy schedule.

It's the old "if only so and so hadn't gotten injured we would have won".

Well, somebody always gets injured. "If only we had better depth, we would have won."

I'm going with 10-6, and I can't believe I'm going so high. I'm assuming that the Hawks ain't all that this year, we get swept by the 49ers and the Rams, and we stay healthy.

Wins: Lions, Green Bay, Seattle, Steelers, Bengals, Panthers, Ravens, Dallas, Chicago, Browns.

Two months ago, I said 2-14.

Today I'm saying we start strong, and fade to 6-10.

Ask me again after the bye week, if we're 4-2, look out.
