Anyone else as worried about game 5 as I am? I think SA will come out PISSED in their building after what happened to them last night. I dont want to bring up officiating...but you know what it will probably be like in SA. I hope the Suns can pull out a shocker but I'm not sure if it can happen.

I do think, however that regardless of what happens tomorrow that they will come back home and take game 6.

Suns 83
Spurs 90

Hey, pray that I'm wrong, please!

I really feel like Duncan and Robinson would have the same reaction to winning a championship as with losing in the first round. They have that "there are more things to life than basketball" mentality. And although that point may have some validity, it doesn't help you win any ball games.

The Suns defense has been very good so far, unfortunately so has the Spurs. Suns need to get a little scoring off the bench, force a few turnovers, and they will win.

Turnovers and Free throws have been a problem for the Spurs this year. More trapping, playing the passing lanes, and no layups. :)

I'm hoping to be at the game tomorrow... Probably the lone Suns fan amongst 20,000 screaming Spurs fans... Whether I make it back alive is a different story:(

I just wish I had a new Marbury, Marion, or Stoudamire Jersey to wear. All I have is an old Kidd jersey that I got when he first got traded to phx. Damn its hard to get Suns merchandise in Texas. I hope I get to go, and I'll be cheerin for the guys!

GO SUNS TAKE GAME 5!!!!!!!

The Suns have had replica Marion & Marbury jerseys on sale at the playoff games for 35% off ($29.95 + tax).

Yeah its hard to buy suns jerseys in New York too (well kinda, penny jerseys). I usually get my jerseys off of ebay.

I'm afraid the Suns will lose tonight. On the other hand, the Suns have played pretty poorly on the offensive end, yet won two games so far. If the Suns can shoot 3's tonight in at least a 33% clip and in general shoot well, they have a good chance of winning tonight.

I honestly think that the only chance the Suns have of winning this series is to take the next two games. There's no way this side of hell the refs will let the Suns win a game 7 in San Antonio.
The Suns big men will mysteriously get in foul trouble very early.

We are going to have to match their intensity from the start. They will be ready and willing to take Game 5. If we play hard on both sides of the ball and JJ continues to shine, we'll do just fine. I really think that JJ, Bo and Lil' Jake will be needed to secure a Game 5 win.
GO SUNS!!! Lay the SunBurn on their arses.

I think the Phoenix Suns coaching staff needs to make some adjustments to get Shawn Marion's offense going tonight. He had a respectable 17 points the other night, but he really needs to do more, especially with Marbury injured. They should be bringing him off of screens at the top of the key for some quick jump shots. I really do not want to see Marbury dribbling the ball around the outside for 15-20 seconds on every possession.

Joe Johnson needs to go strong to the basket again, and I really do not want to see Casey Jacobsen at all. Frankly I think the Suns would have been better with Langhi on the playoff roster. I'm sure they know this, but they were trying to get CJ the playoff experience because he is in their long-term plans and Langhi is not.

The Suns are due for a good outside shooting night. They haven't had one yet in the series and they've somehow won 2 games. So I think we'll shoot about 48% tonight and it will still be close thanks to some more poor officiating. I think the Suns can win this game, but they're going to have to overcome a lot of crap calls to do it.

I hope Eric doesn't read that.

Heh. Brown hasn't played, so if all Langhi was going to do was sit on the bench, that probably would have been okay. It's the idea of him being on the floor that bothers me.

I really feel like Duncan and Robinson would have the same reaction to winning a championship as with losing in the first round.

agreed. i used to think duncan was calm and collected. i used to wish more nba players were like him in his restraint. now i'm starting to think is just indifference. i don't think he cares all that much. kinda weird, actually.

i think if the suns can hang around early on in the first 8-10 minutes, they'll be fine the whole game. i'm afraid if they get down big early, it will be a big mountain to climb and they'll be down 3-2 coming back to phoenix. but if they can keep it close, i think they will win. the suns have shown all year they have the ability to win a close game, and i haven't seen that from the spurs yet.

go suns!

i'm making 2 predictions (how's that for fence riding)

#1 suns 96 spurs 93
or
#2 suns 76 spurs 98

so, basically my prediction is either the suns will win or the spurs.:D
