Favre will throw at least 3 tds, so this will have to be a high scoring game if we're to win. Leinart throws 3 also, but:

Packers 31
AZ 24

Until they prove me wrong, I will never predict a road win. Even if they play The Citadel.

I predict we lose and Green Bay wins. Really what is the point anymore? I just get mad when I'm way off and we get beat worse than I predicted. It's a loss. Book it.

how can we possibly predict this game? it has nothing to do with talent vs. talent anymore. This game is all about whether the Cardinals players want Denny to get fired or not. Will they play for Denny's job or allow the Packers to roll all over them in order to get Denny fired....???

I say the majority "vote" for change and it will show in the score...but, your guess is as good as mine...

This is Sunday's weather forecast. Looks like great weather for a high scoring game.

Actually, I'll go with 54-2 Pack....

AZ's only points come when GB's punter accidentally mistimes his kick and actually punts it backwards. The ball sails over his head and tumbles out of the back of the endzone after squirting out of the grasp of 3 AZ defenders en route to the endzone. We can't even score a TD on a backwards punt....

20-17 Cards. We get up early and amazingly don't lose it in the end. I'm just so damn tired of the Cardinals losing, can we please win this one?

As for the Packers' passing attack, Favre is dealing with a very inexperienced group of wideouts outside of leading receiver Donald Driver.
Veteran Robert Ferguson was placed on injured reserve this week with a foot injury, and Koren Robinson was suspended for the season last week for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Rookie Greg Jennings, leading the team with three TD receptions, is doubtful for Sunday with an ankle injury. Green Bay's other wideouts -- Chris Francies, Ruvell Martin and newly acquired Shaun Bodiford -- have combined for only three NFL receptions.
Hmm... It seems like Green Bay will have a great passing game and we will make some of these no name receivers appear to be pro bowlers. Isn't this how it is always comes out?

I hope we're not looking past GB and already anticipating the favorable matchup with BYE the following week...

I hope we get a rare road win.

Cards 24
Pack 20

SERIES HISTORY

The Packers lead the all-time regular season series with the Cardinals, which dates back to the 1921 season, 41-22-4. Arizona won the most recent meeting, taking a 20-13 decision at home during the 2003 season. Green Bay had won the previous four matchups, including a 29-3 triumph at Sun Devil Stadium in 2000 and a a 49-24 win in 1999, which marks the last time the teams faced off at Lambeau Field. The Cardinals are 0-5 in regular season games played in Green Bay since the then-Chicago Cardinals last won there in 1947. The only road win in the series for the Cardinals since that time was a 39-17 triumph in Milwaukee in 1949.

In addition to the regular season series, the teams have met once in the postseason, a 41-16 Green Bay win at home over then then-St. Louis Cardinals in a 1982 NFC First-Round Playoff.

Green is 11-9 in his career against Green Bay, with all of those matchups dating back to his tenure with Minnesota (1992-2001). Green is 2-7 all-time at Lambeau Field. The Packers' Mike McCarthy will be meeting both Green and the Cardinals for the first time as a head coach.

--------------------

Hopefully we can party like it's 1949 !!!

:D
