Howard is barking at Edu...... Dude... We got robbed on that third goal.....

F ing incredible.

Yeah, been playing the replay and there were a ton of grabs and pull going on, but none against the US.

Robbed, but the refs been horrible for both sides. Just sucks that it was the US' turn on such an important point.

This has been the best game of the tournament so far. Had some bad reffing, but it was a damn good game. Now lets hope for an England tie with less than 2 goals.

So we're rooting for England to win from now on? And we need to win our final game in this round?

I guess we should be somewhat happy with the point but man the officiating was absolute garbage.

A handball that wasn't.
The GW goal taken away for no apparent reason and 2 of our players were held and should have been a penalty kick at the bare minimum.

Its amazing how good this team is when they are aggressive. Slovenia was bug-eyed the second Landon scored the first goal.

Gomez?(#3) was holding his man but Altidore was being held and Bradley was clearly fouled. I can't believe they called that.

They just talked to coach Bradley and he said they don't even know yet why the goal was disallowed, they don't know what was called. If they called Gomez it's ridiculous given to what happened to Bradley.

Great comeback but it should have been a win.

ok now assuming England wins this afternoon

England 4 Pts
Slovenia 4 Pts
US 2 Pts
Algeria 0 Pts

We will need to win against Algeria and hope either England or Slovenia wins...a draw would come down to goal differential Slovenia is +1 and we are even. If we win by 2 goals against Algeria the result in the other game won't matter.

Findley is out for the game against Algeria so it'll be Buddle or Gomez with Altidore. Edu earned another start IMO.

The answer to your first question--it doesn't matter, the second question is a definite yes.

I wonder how countries like Mali & Seychelles can have refs at this tournament but not a single American ref is qualified.

I realize the quality of officiating in MLS is poor (CONCACAF in general really) but there has to be a few refs out there as good as some of what we've seen in this tourney.

Wow. Landon just said on Sportscenter that they still don't know what was called on the potential GW winning goal.

Wonder if FIFA could get involved with this. I doubt it but it makes you wonder

Even if FIFA gets involved it won't change the result, they would just remove the ref from the tourney for lack of confidence in him.

No way. FIFA didn't even do anything about the Henry handball that kept Ireland out of the WC.

Edu was garbage when he came on, the goal would have made up for it but we all know what a travesty that was. Howard even had to have a go at him for not clearing the ball. I was looking forward to him coming on but he didn't play well.

A great comeback overall though. Really good fighting spirit. Donovan is pure class. He is the difference maker. Demerit was poor and Cherundolo didn't get into the game either.

I'm glad we will have Buddle or Gomez for the next game. Findley really needs to learn to control the ball.

Good point. I hate that there have been WAY TOO MANY questionable calls before and during the tournament and that is the deciding factor of quite a few games.

This is a mess

To be fair I would say the refs have been really good overall. Just today's two games that have been crap.

Klose certainly shouldn't have been sent off, probably not even booked.
