seriously he does things i could never do i didn't even play that position in high school
but on the bright side "the howler" was kicken' booty tonight
and i am going to just keep saying its preseason
but we all know that if you can gauge anything in the preseason its game three
so we'll see next week
i hope warner and our starters play the entire first half and matt gets the rest of the reps i want to see st pierre holding a clipboard and a headset and god help us if he sees the field the rest of the year

i did like lance long and doucett thats gonna be a tough call we got fitz boldin breaston urban long and doucett i think thats it

remind me if i'm forgetting any receivers

hightower looked decent tonight

d-line clogged up the running game the secondary was pretty quiet
oh well any other thoughts welcome
this is just for conversation i ain't bashing anyone as i was accused of last week
anyway
go cards lets start the regular season hard and fast and take the west from the get go

From now on whenever a QB throws a bad pass I will call it a BSP (bad stinking pass)

What?
Come on guys BSP has all the tools you need for a back up QB. As long as you realize the tools you can't use like...

Throwing
Not being skittish in the pocket
Throwing on the run
Checking down
Accuracy
Yelling Hut to snap the ball

As long as he doesn't have to do any of these obviously not QB related functions he will easily beat out Matt for second string.

Even worse BSP looks like an accountant instead of a QB.

Well, we got a better look at what our starting team would look like without Warner or even Matt out there. Hey, I guess there's always next game. ;)

Excellent comparison. Throws some good passes and then some of the worst throws you've ever seen in the NFL.

Pepe lepu can take his million dollar self to Kansas.

Saint Pierre was so bad Leinart got a standing ovation when he was announced as the QB.

Palko didn't play because St. Pierre played 2 quarters. Matt only got one drive.

BSP reminds me of that girl all your friends warn you about. "Dont date her, she is a cheating *****" they say. Then, when she bones 3 dudes between you taking her to lunch and dinner, you realize you should have listened to your friends.

Whiz, LISTEN TO YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only assume that BSP is a very good student of the game and a real clipboard warrior. Why else would he have lasted so long in the league? Ther are numerous College Qbs coming out each year with more on-field potential.

How much benefit would having another lefty (Palko) backing Leinart up in the post-Warner era be?

Funny I was thinking the same thing. Lots of running around with no clue where the receivers are and when he made the throws they were not good.

Whiz was making excuses for BSP again yesterday saying the QB was hampered by WRs running the wrong routes.

Stupid WR's don't they know that route called for them to run 5 yards downfield and dive into the turf and on that other route they were supposed to go 8 yards and run up into section 131.

Yeah it's the recievers fault he wasn't ten feet tall. Sheesh.

I wish I could trick someone into giving me a million dollars to play like that. I'm pretty sure I can play that well actually just missing the paycheck.

Remember he did the same thing with Matt last year after Matt's bad game against Oakland in the preseason. I think while Whiz is very tough on his QB's, he also recognizes they have a tough job so he doesn't throw them under the bus to the media.

The problem I see with BSP is basically a 3rd QB has to be a guy who won't hurt you, he may be a big dropoff from Warner throwing the ball, but he's not going to kill you with dumb mistakes and turnovers, the classic caretaker. But so far BSP has been the exact opposite hurting the team with bad mistakes and turnovers.

I still think he makes the team because I think Whiz trusts him more than Palko, but I have to admit off the first 2 games I sure hope we never see BSP in a close game.

Boy do I agree with you about the "problem"

But to make things worse BSP has done nothing in 6 years. Nothing. Its not like he just came out of college or NFL Europe and was struggling to get his feet under him.

Also, I dont recall them announcing BSP as the replacement. And I remember hearing them boo the **** out of him on every 3rd and out and the INT.
