Our Captains:

Boldin
Wilson
Hayes
Francisco
Rackers

NEED TO PICK UP THEIR COLLECTIVE GAMES !!!!!!!!!

I do not think there are is a guy on that list that show go into this bye week with the thought they are playing up to there potential OR are leading this team in anyway.

I am not saying these players suck, or have played "badly" but being a captain means you HAVE TO lead by example, and need to "will" their team to to victory.

And "He's hurt", "He's playing OK", etc., etc. is not gonna cut it.

They are the captains, and the leaders.

GET R DONE!

I dunno I think the top 3 are playing pretty damn well when on the field.

They gotta do more. I know it sounds ridiculous, but that is what captains do.

I have faith that this team, and our captains will come out of the bye looking much better. I just hope they can back it up.

So back to the list, I'd say Hayes has had the best year so far, followed by Boldin (when he plays).

Yep, Hayes, eventhough his 4 tackles last game was an off day.

could quite possibly be the dumbest thread ever...

Boldin caught 2 td's yesterday. Wilson has been a beast this year and his pick off rothlisberger was huge. Hayes has been a tackling machine and Rackers is barely missing 55 yarders on the road.

that was the prettiest onside ive seen and the man still boots it in the endzone

Agreed.

But looking at what has been produced out on the field so far I would say none of these players are in the top three when it comes to production.

Guys that are producing out on the field would be:

1. Darnell Dockett - HOLY MOLY! This guys is playing lights out. Penalities be damned. He is energizing the entire defense.

2. Edgerrin James - He is our offense. For the amount of pressure that is put on him the instant he takes the handoff, I can't believe how few times he is tackled behind the LOS. AND he is doing this quietly this year.

3. Gabe Watson - Our defense is not nearly effective if the big man didn't become 4 x the player he was last year.

Followed by what could quite possibly be the dumbest post ever...

Since you have little to no idea what I am talking about then I guess it doesn't matter.

I think Wilson's play has been seriously affected by those two ridiculous personal foul penalties. He just hasn't looked the same to me since that call against Carolina.

I dont think they are using Wilson the same. They are not blitzing him nearly as much as they did last year. Its his 8 sacks and tons of tackles for loss that got him into the pro bowl last year.

I think they are being to conservative with him right now. Even if we are getting good push from our front 4 you still got to do what Wilson does best and make that push even better.

Joe, I agree. But it is a risk. If your front four allows you to play back and still get pressure, it is what you should do. I still want them to bring Wilson for the passing down about every third time, or more if he is successful.

At that point, you don't even need sacks, just a jittery QB.

I agree to a point. I just think Wilson brings more to the passing D as a blitzer then he does as a deep coverage guy(although he is better at it then in years past).

The more aggresive you are with Wilson the better a player he is IMO.

I still stand by this.

A lot of guys on this list, left a lot out on the field yesterday.

Unacceptable.
