Skkorp - Is there any way to create a "read-only" archive of some classic ASFN threads? (Eventually, "Anquan" should wind up there along side "Dream").

Also - for good PR: How about ASFN releasing a "best of" collection of threads and posts to the local media? (You never know if they might pick some of it up on a slow news day).

Mike/Skkorp, I have some vbulletin post archiving software that I use. If you are interested, PM me and I'll send you the link.

Plus the posts then get listed in google!

The thread was funny but at some point, brininging it back again crossed the line because the intent was to ridicule. That's not okay.

Not in reference to this thread but I get a tremendous amount of e-mail from various irate posters who feel they have been insulted. I try to keep people from leaving ASFN in anger. The choices are often not easy.

Tolerance, please. For each other.

The "I Can Dream" thread...

...just read through that classic yet highly disturbing thread for the first time late last night. The only image that came to mind while reading Tango's original post was that of the character of "Jame Gumb" in "Silence of the Lambs" preening in front of the mirror while working "the tucK" on himself. Clearly, that was Tango's state of (lost) mind while writing about being jilted by his would be prom date Jake the Snake. From that post, it is clear Tango has caught more balls to the chin than Yogi Berra and Johnny Bench combined.

Sorry Skorp, I know that was exactly the type of post you were trying to discourage. I promise to be nice in the future.
