OLB Russell Allen

How does OLB Russell Allen measure up against our plethora of OLBs? The Jags just cut him (their starter) and they are notoriously bad at evaluating talent. I know we have a long list of barely serviceable guys at the position but he is a pretty good over achieving special teams guy too. 6'3" 235 4.5 - 4.5 40.

I think he'd be more fitting as an ILB in a 3-4.
Would be a good depth signing

Failed his physical believe due to concussion issues.

Wow. Apparently it wan't necessarily concussion issues. He suffered a mini-stroke on a routine play vs. Buffalo and is now retiring at 27.

Those ugly head injuries are starting to show themselves.
