Sometimes it is interesting to look back what people were saying. This post was made before the season began:

"Not trying to troll or anything guys but Kolb is quite possibly the most over rated ever and could be on of the most overpaid but nothing close to Haynesworth. I think the Cards were better off trying things out with McNabb (who is worse than Kolb now but you guys could have drafted a QB next year and kept DRC) I never understood the hype with him he was only the 6th ranked QB coming out of college in a very weak draft class that year possibly the worst ever for QBs with such stars as Russel, Quinn, Beck, Stanton and Edwards I will credit him with being the best to come out of that class.

While I do see Arizona winning the West this year I just feel like Kolb is not the answer though to lead them to the next level. I honestly believe Philadelphia should have been giving up the 2nd rounder in the Kolb for DRC swap as well. Arizona has a very good team but I think they made the wrong decision when they decided to invest their future in Kolb you never know though I could be wrong"

We're all so quick in our assessments...what were folks saying about Warner after his first year?

Kolb is definitely not Warner, the point though is we won't know until we know.
