Actually that was ol #81
Was it? I thought it was during the other call in show. Wow. Way too many call in shows!

AP Usually follows up a poor performance with 130+ yards.
Why would you underestimate them like that. They don't have that record by accident.
Seattle is very very dangerous and it looks like they are hitting there stride late a loss to them certainly isn't something to be ashamed of
Look at their last 3 games , Lost 30 to 13 on their home field against a injured up under-maned Packer Team , won against a fallen and can't get up Falcons team that has lost 6 in a row 20 to 10 , Lost at home 35 to 7 in an absolute wood shed thrashing by the Hags .
You ask why would I underestimate them . I ask you why would I look at the above and believe that they will show up Thursday as a confident team ???
Minnesota had 125 total yards of offense yesterday.
Seattle's defense was saying Teddy looked confused and scared, and they run the simplest defense in the world! They don't count on scheme, the count on talent.
The game plan is the same as it was for the Rams. Bottle up Peterson and make the QB beat us.

My God, that must have been so very tough for him to go through. You could just see that loss eating away at him during the presser.
The Rams came in with a QB we didn't much respect and rode a huge RB performance to victory. I agree the Vikings' backs are against the wall right now, and they'll have a lot of their own fans in the stands. I'm really glad this game is at home after a short week, but the Cards need to come out every bit as motivated as the Vikings.

We luckily came away from St Louis with few, if any, injuries. Minny lost 2 Defensive starters in the first quarter against Seattle.
"Linebacker Anthony Barr and safety Harrison Smith each left early in the first quarter and did not return. Barr had a groin injury and Smith suffered a hamstring injury." - NFL.com

Sounds like they were really beat up by Seattle:

Well Smith missed the game before and only practiced Friday. He tried to go and couldn't. Barr missed practices during the week. He came out with a groin injury in the first Seattle series. Joseph and Sendejo were late week scratches. Blanton came out after Exuum hit him and the reciever. Teddys non throwing shoulder has been bad for a few weeks. The Vikes were already beat up before Seattle. I hope we (Vikings) rest our defensive starters this week and get them healthy for the Chicago and Giants games. That can get us to 10 wins going into Green Bay.
I was a few weeks ago. Now I am just worried about the rest of the season. I know nfl coaches don't think this way, but I would rather sacrifice this game and try to get healthy. I know with AP we have a chance to win any game. He can carry the team on his shoulders while keeping opposing offenses off the field, but I feel this is more of a any given Sunday type of game for us. Our offensive line was decimated in the preseason, so we have been schemed to win with defense, special teams and the run game. Without the sefense, it will be tough going.Appreciate the info! So excited about this game!
One advantage that I think we will have too is MN is very similar team to the Rams on offense and ST. They are both power run teams with bad offensive lines and no real recieving threat with a sub-par qb that can make plays when given the opportunity. Their defense has a good front line but better playmakers in their secondary. Their safety especially with smith, when healthy, can be a player that can cause team fits. They have athletic lbs that can keep up with DJ, but I'm not really sure how well their pass coverage is as a group. Their corners only have one big physical corner in Xavier Rhodes and have 2 experienced nickel types of corners in captain mutterlyn and Terrance Newman. I think if we play our game it will be a fun one to watch because it could be a repeat game like we had against the lambs Sunday.
I was going to say you nailed the Vikes there, then I saw you live in MN. No wonder you know the team well.
I'd like to say that my living in MN as well would also be a help...
...but I got nothin'.
I only pay attention to the Cardinals.
