Not me. Boldin is a fantastic player, no doubt. My favorite on the team. But, he doesn't give the franchise hope like Leinart does. Neither does Fitz.

The hope of this franchise rests on Leinart's shoulders alone. Boldin and Fitz are destined for greatness, but a WR cannot turn the fortunes of a franchise alone.

A QB can't do it alone either. Even Joe Montana had Jerry Rice.

I agree, to a point. Elway got the Broncos to a superbowl with nobody special at WR. I'd also argue that Montana would still have at least one ring if you replaced Rice with, say, Vance Johnson.

The QB is far and away a more important position than WR, IMO.

I'd have bailed after the Rams game this year if Boldin was catching balls from Warner, Navarre and Bruce Gradkowski (as an example).
