If this team is going to have any success we're probably not going to see a lot of it in April.
I liked how they fought back.

Goldy is everyone's favorite D-back. But, beyond that, David Peralta has been my favorite since his rookie season.

What a blast! A 3-run homer (the D-back's first of the season) to give DeLaRosa a 4-2 lead. Invaluable to a pitcher who gave up an earlier 2-run homer.

It is why I picked the D-backs to go 82-80 as they develop their young talent. We have some talented bats.

I think that Chip will continue to platoon at 3B and LF, resting Peralta and Lamb when a lefty pitches. Which will allow him to showcase Hill for a trade and give Inciarte a fair amount of at-bats as the 4th outfielder. He played LF last night and CF tonight. Betcha within the next 2 games, Ender will start a game in RF.

Great to see Kate Longworth on FoxSportsAZ. Nice to have another UofA alum working for the Diamondbacks. :D

Pick your headline:

Dbacks Win, Rookie on Pace to Hit 567 RBIs

or

Dbacks Win, Trumbo on Pace to Hit 162 Triples

Lamb is on pace for about 800 rbi. So... even accounting for the sample size being a bit small, I'd still pencil him in for at least 300+.

In case anyone is wondering, Jake Lamb is eligible for ROY.

The current standard of 130 at bats, 50 innings pitched or 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club (excluding time in military service or on the disabled list) before September 1 was adopted in 1971.[1

He had 126 AB's in 37 games.
