Neigh - she's got more grill than George Forman. She's got more rows of teeth than a shark.

Oh - and I don't think that she's that great of an actress either...

I think any man who doesn't find Julia Roberts attractive needs to make sure they know which team they're playing on :)

Good actress but I wouldn't put her in the top half of attractive women. Everytime she goes to smile I expect her to say "Willllllllburrrrr!"

She can smile all she wants. She makes more money in a month then you'll make your entire life. I'm sure she's really concerned that people on the ASFN message board don't think she's "all that". :D

Who cares how much she makes in relation to any of us?

This poll is regarding her popularity among the posters at ASFN.

Some actors and actresses meld right into their characters. Whenever I see a movie with Julia in it, I'm always thinking "that's Julia Roberts" rather than that's the character "Jane Doe." She just doesn't do it for me. And yes, it might be because of her distracting two-story teeth. :D

Just my opinion.

Chickflickski and others might see it differently...

By the way, I would think that not many actors can completely blend into each of their roles they do, like Daniel Day Lewis.

Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, etc., they don't blend well either. I think it's hard to blend once you've become so popular.

From a movie review:

Have you ever noticed how freaky Julia Roberts is? Everything is outsized—those teeth, those eyes, those coltish gams, that smile that's wider than most people's heads. Those feelers, too: She's such an edgy, hypersensitive creature that she practically gives off a hum, like high-voltage wires.

What's with all the 5-year-old threads?

I like necroposting.

It's like going back in time. There are thing that I have said just a year ago, that I can't believe that I have said.

Time is not linear in the movie forum. I'm always interested to read what asfn'rs thought of movies, no matter how long ago it was.

As a side note. When I was acting in LA, the acting coach I was working with told us that the classic moment in Pretty Woman, where she reaches for the necklace and Richard snaps it shut, was an inside between the director and Grere. He was trying to get an honest reaction out of her, and that was the one moment that actually did it.

That said, she's come as long way and is one of the better actresses out there now a days (Meryl Streep aside)
