These guys officially fell off my list today. Palmer was already on the bottom of said list, but todays game seasled the deal. It was the first time I got to watch him since early in the season and uh...pass on him. You had that one right k9.

Orton though, I've heard he has been doing good this season on a bad team. He has the second most 300 yard games this season, I think. Today he looked exactly like he did when he was with Da Bears. Exactly, that was bad QB play, even by Cardinal standards.

So McNaab(for obvious reasons), Orton, and Palmer have all fell off my Cardinal hopefuls.

I didn't see the game but Palmer was terrible, 2 picksixes.

He's not fully healthy but that will be the question this offseason too, is his shoulder and knee healthy or not.

His mentals aren't there right now in the game, its just bad decisions, not injury caused mistakes. I was all on the Palmer train, but I have since bailed, dusted my self off, and decided I am done with having some other teams wash up as our stater. As a back up, if they are cheap, then that's cool, but release DA.

I'd take Orton in a heartbeat on this team.

I've been saying all season that Palmer hasn't been "right" and the boxscores weren't telling the whole story.

Orton, however, IS a good QB. Being in Denver, I've seen a lot of his games and listen to a lot of analysis of his play. I think the last couple weeks are just hiccup. If by some act of God Orton becomes available next season, the Cardinals would be wise to go after him. I think he'd be a good fit here.

An aside: I think the reason there are so many Orton haters is because he doesn't look the part. He's a goofy looking guy...about as far from tom brady-esque as you can get. At least he shaved that stupid amish beard he had in the first part of the season. This should be a man law: if you can't grow a full beard, don't.

Didn't the wheels fall off Denver's offense last year as well? It seems to me Orton had some stinker games down the stretch last year as well.

I have seen Orton have too many crap games now.

The problem with Orton is he always falters down the stretch. He's a heartbreak waiting to happen.

I'd say that is more of a Bronco problem than an Orton problem. The Broncos and Dolphins fold under the pressure of playing games in Nov. and Dec.

You can add Donovan McNabb to the list. He is being booed in Washington and might be replaced by Rex Grossman.

:p

Bottom Line: Orton > Anderson. :bhiich:

He got out played by a rookie. Yet you still want him...
That's a keyhole view of the big picture. Yes, Orton is in a slump right now--a career-low couple of weeks. It happens. He's a decent NFL QB, though. Is he an all-pro? Probably not. But if that's the only thing AZ fans will accept, we've contracted a particularly virulent strain of Elwayitis from Bronco fans.

If the Broncos get rid of him, Orton will make some team very happy. Here's a thought: The Vikings. He'd be very good in Minny.

(I also think he'd be a very good fit here, too).

I don't believe Palmer is done, and agree with those he think there's something not "right." In a way I could see him going to a team as a backup to a younger QB, getting right physically and mentally, and having a nice resurrection when the opportunity arises.

But if he comes here, he would probably win the starting job, and we'd be clamoring for Skelton with every INT. It just doesn't seem like the best situation at first glance.

Disagree. Hall did not have a better game, regardless of the win.

Skelton easily showed more than Orton Sunday.

One game doesn't define a career. Orton has clearly shown more than Skelton this year.
