I am not. I would love to get back into the playoffs, although another drubbing would suck. What I would hate was for that to be our outlier in a sea of bad seasons. Like the last time we made the playoffs. Getting one ass kicking after squeaking into the playoffs wouldn't be a successful rebuild. Getting said ass kicking, then getting in the next season and making it to the next round, etc, would.
I agree. Also I agree you're not wrong to question MO's drafting. Chris laid out the argument pretty well that he's mid at best.
Looking at your post above, I guess it all comes down to, do you think MO is building the roster in such a way that success is sustainable.
Keim kind of went all in for 2021, and I don't think the 2022 roster was as good as 2021. Plus he butchered the cap in the process.
IMHO, I think MO (in fits and starts if you please) is building a sustainable talent level. Or at least he's trying to.
I don't think it's super hard to go from 4-13 to 8-9. It's harder to go from 8-9 to 11-6. I know you super duper hate it man, but next year is the year MO really earns his money.
