I'm totally into this idea as long as drinking would be my primary responsibility.

if you want to do it to have it benefit a charity... i run the boys and girls club in guadalupe by the cardinals training complex

we currently are building a football field with the cardinals and money raised could go towards flag football scholarships for kids that can't afford it.

i also know a sport memorabilia guy that could help us with a silent auction.

message me if interested. I have a board that could help supply volunteers that could help with check in and registration.

I would be interested. After this year I will be retired so time isn't a factor and it would be cool to make a trip to AZ for golf. I also think your better half should be invited if they golf and there would have to be one requirement, you must wear Cardinals gear of some sort in order to play.

Ok I just saw this thread...have been so busy with other things this week, I have only had the one thread open to post updates as I got them (after I found out Cheese was still alive).

I am in to help however we want to do this. I sent a PM to Shaggy and we will talk and come up with a next step I'm sure.

I know everyone is thinking best ball, but just throwing it out there....how about a high entry fee winner take all event? Just think about it, you don't have to answer now... :D

The questions are how high is high and you would have to have handicaps involved. No one is going to go for this if you carry a 20 handicap and you ask them to compete against a 2-3 handicap. Never going to happen.

BirdMan is trying to hustle us!!

I'd be down.. $1,000 dollar entry fee.. I'm terrible at golf, but IF I hit about 70 lucky shots in a row, that should be enough to get a fat paycheck ;)

I would NEVER! :D

And you would need to hit fewer than 70 lucky shots in a row ;)

I will definitely take you up on that when the time comes Tyler! That would be great.

Some great ideas for sure. This will be a great event and will take a lot of help from everyone. We (me and Shaggy) used to work at a golf course and setting up tournaments is a serious time consumer. It will all be worth it. Especially if we can do it every year and for a good cause

I know that my dad and I would love to participate. We're east coasters though. Anyway this thing could be planned around the time of TC or a game? It really sucks that camp isn't in flagstaff anymore.
