OT: Browns extend Andra Davis

Not every player in FA is a superstar. We got the best FA signing in Cards history with Berry, You can't expect that every year.

That is exactly what this guy doesnt seem to get. Superstars dont hit the open market and when they do they usually dont meet expectations.

99% of the time you have to grow your own superstar and keep them, or trade for them. Other then that all you can really do in FA is sign some depth, roles players, and some a above average guys you think may turn into a star to be starters. Teams know how to use the cap, they know how to tinker with it know, which is why you no longer see superstars hit the market or any worth while June 1st cuts anymore.

Berry at his price was a complete luck of the draw and not a sinlge team has done a signing like that that has actually paid off in 5 years.
