Eli is 36 yrs old and will be 37 in Jan. Time to retire.
Tom Brady is 40, is it time for him to retire too? Brees is 38. Josh McCown is 38. Palmer is going to be 38. Age is meaningless if you're still productive and popular sentiment aside, he's still productive.

I wouldn't put it past the Cards to go after him. Their best success at QB in the last 10 years has been bring in an aging guy like Warner or Palmer. But they still need to work on drafting a guy who can play the position for 10-15 years.

Don't get me wrong... Eli was a very good quarterback. But that's the key word... was. I don't think he's ever been as elite as his brother was, or as good as Brees has been under Sean Payton. The quarterbacks playing at this age are the anomaly, not the rule. His brother made it to 39 and barely so. McCown isn't a star, Palmer should retire, and Brees is on an offense suddenly predicated by the running game.

Tom Brady is possibly the greatest quarterback of all time. We shouldn't bring a guy in whose production has been completely lost without Odell Beckham Jr., not when we're on the the precipice of revamping this team. We need to get younger, not older.

That organization is a dumpster fire. But, I like that we get to face Geno Smith if Eli remains benched for the remainder of the season.

Not me I can't count the backups that have lit us up. I don't get it but they do.

I don't see the Cards going from Palmer to Eli at all. It doesn't make sense.
The Giants should have traded him at the deadline. There was some interest from Jax.

No offensive line no running game no receivers yup sounds like Eli's fault. He's more than proven he can be suceed when he has the weapons around him but he's not Rodgers a guy that can carry a franchise

Manning has a no-trade clause in his contract. He also is due a $5 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2018, so he will be released on the first day of the league year.

He’s totally going to be the next old QB we bring in, fooling ourselves into not picking a QBOTF again.

Wanted Eli when he was coming out of college but not now. Yes he could still play good for a year or two but we really need to find a young guy whether it is Gabbert or next years number one pick. The good thing is we have another five games to watch Gabbert and make a decision on him so no rush.

Sources: Some members of the #Giants ownership did not agree with how Eli Manning was handled this week and there was intense and serious internal debate. They are trying to figure out the fallout, leading to John Mara not guaranteeing Ben McAdoo would finish the season.

Who's our next coach? That's the question we need to worry about.
