Is it just me or are the Fox announcers and graphics identifying the stadium simply as "Cardinals Stadium"?

I always wondered if the media could be forced to refer it as "U. of Phoenix" if they simply didn't want to. Likewise for things like the Phoenix Open, etc.

They definitely called it Cardinals Stadium a couple times, despite the big sign that says University of Phoenix Stadium that is visible from many angles.

I know this thread is about the stadium, but that was the most incredible finish I've ever seen in a football game. Even better than USC/Texas last year.

Like a dummy....I left early and just got home to catch the ending....I thought Boise had it won....if it was the Cardinals or a team I follow I would have stayed to the end........I was not really rooting for either team....

That was a damn good game.....wow....

I found myself rooting for the underdog (boise) at the end...

I heard on the radio that Bob Stoops makes more $$ per year than the entire budget for the football program at Boise St. I am not sure that is right....but it is kind of funny either way that Stoops got outcoached at the end....they had no clue where the last two plays were going....

I still say the Sooners were at a disadvantage in this game having to take on the Goliath role. BSU had everthing to gain and nothing to lose. What would the Sooners really gain by beating David? Sooners could have and should have blown BSU off of the field. Their heart wasn't in it enough to be thirsting for the win as was BSU's. All that said there's no excuse for the Mighty Sooners to have not won this game. Disappointing for them and a tough place to have been put in.

Yeah it was a great play. I tip my hat to BSU's coaching staff. However it has been a tough year for the Sooners. Just think if Oregon U had not gotten that homer call at the end of the game (which the NCAA later the next week sent OU a formal apology for that ridiculous call) the Sooners might not have even had to play Potato state to borrow from you in the first place.

Stoops does get credit for steering them through all of that disappointment and keeping them focused so I should be fair in my criticism of him.
