If this was done on the street, Gronk would be in jail. Instead, he gets suspended one game against the Dolphins.

This is worse than the allegations against Elliot. Should be minimum 6 games for this.

There have been several dirty incidents across the NFL this season, in some cases prompting supplemental discipline. But Max Kellerman really was left scratching his head Sunday after Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski delivered a late hit on Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White in the fourth quarter of New England’s 23-3 win over Buffalo at New Era Field. Kellerman shared his thoughts on the questionable hit, which earned Gronkowski an unnecessary roughness penalty, on Monday’s episode of ESPN’s “First Take” and made it clear he believes Gronk deserves to be suspended for his actions. “That’s the worst thing I’ve seen all year,” Kellerman said. “It’s the worst foul I’ve seen all year, because the play was over, it was a defenseless player and Gronk comes up and hits him hard. How many steps does he take before he hits him hard in the back of the head? In boxing, you can’t hit anyone in the back of the head, it’s called a rabbit punch. Do you know why? Because it’s extremely dangerous. Brain stem injury is extremely dangerous.

yep.... this was far worse than the incidents that got Donkey Kong Suh labeled as a "Dirty Player"
...
IMO...a three game suspension would have been appropriate..
but I hope this ******** stretches this appeals thing out a while...then has to sit during the playoffs and costs his team a win... little bitch

It was dirty & he should have been ejected but he hit him more in the back than the head. He led with his forearm & then slid over the top of him.

I just watched it and it was DIRTY! He deserves more than one game. As for dirtiest ever, not by a long shot.

Are you saying this is worse than domestic violence?

Is murder worse than DV? This was a clear intent to injure another player, caught on film, during the game. That is what makes it worthy of a longer suspension.

How do you know that?

Because you haven't. You may have seen really dirty plays on the field, people chip shotting and head hunting. That is all during the game (even if some of it is outrageous and dangerous).

This had NOTHING to do with the game. The guy is lying there, down (already tagged), he's even OUT OF BOUNDS, he is not even looking and he gets bushwacked. It wasn't even a smack in the face, Gronk is too much of coward for that apparently. I have never seen anything more disgusting than that on a football field.

If you actually have, enlighten us. But blindsiding someone or even body chopping a knee during a play doesn't rate as this bad. So list some incident.

Will you guys listen to yourselves? This is worse than domestic violence? Worse than kicking a QB in his crotch, stomping on a player's arm. Stomping on Rodgers' ankle. kicking a QB in the head? Throwing a forearm to the back of Cutler's head? I mean, watch this video and please tell me how Gronk's punk shot is worse than these?

did I say that? Nope. Get a clue

I asked if you believe this hit is worse than DV because you plainly stated that this was worse than what Elliot was accused of. Then you asked if murder was worse than DV then go on to say that this hit was intent to inure which I didn't deny. But if you weren't implying that this hit was attempted murder than why ask if murder is worse than DV? And you're the one who said a football hit was worse than domestic violence but I'm the one who needs to get a clue.

Wow, you are really out on a limb here and overly dramatic. I guess if it isn't shown on TV then it didn't really happen. Lots of plays away from the ball happen that are pretty dirty. I've seen guys getting punched in the groin in those pile ups when a ball is loose. Dockett was notorious for twisting ankles after a tackle. Richie Incognito was probably the dirtiest player on the planet.

Was the whistle blown when he landed on him? Seems like your personal dislike for Gronk is skewing your perspective.

BTW, don't presume to know what I have seen or have not seen, Oh Wise One.
