:biglaugh:awesome!!!

In all seriousness, is he really a top 3 player in this draft? I have doubts though I think he'll be a solid/good player in the NFL, I just don't see dominant.
He's good but I think he'll be over-drafted because people think he's a JJ Watt clone. He's not. He can dominate but he disappears for long stretches also.

I wouldn't take him top 3 but that seems to be the consensus right now.

Luck is a terrific player but he now has the most TO's in the NFL over the last 16 games.

You almost wonder are the Colts going to be that rare team that decides it doesn't make sense for us to pay him that much because we don't have a good enough team around him, so let's trade him or let him go?

I doubt they will, much easier to build around a franchise QB than try to find another one.

He can't be having much fun though, mediocre WR talent, OL changing constantly, he's taking a beating.

Bowles knows defense.

This is kind of funny when you think back to when Bowles was first brought over from Philly and everyone was gnashing their teeth about Bowles and how bad the Philly defense was and how he was going to make the defense as putrid as the Eagles one was. I guess it just shows how little we really know about coaches and just how good or bad they are.

I can guess the position the disagreements were over. Offensive line. That offensive line may be worse than the Cardinals than that last two Russ Grimm Cardinal offensive line units. Really. That offensive line for the Colts is horrible, and I guarantee they would take Shipley and Sowell back on their line right now.

The Colts are an example that you have to invest in your offensive line or you will eventually not be able to do anything on offense.
Yikes comparing that line to the Russ Grimm lines makes me wince thinking about it. We have been there for too many years, ugh

Took this team a long time to figure out how to build the Oline and it's still a work in progress.

People were already comparing luck to Cutler on an Indy sports writer's Twitter feed last night. I commented, "Boy it would look nice having Arians calling plays instead of Hamilton, huh?"

They are terrible on both lines. Just stupid management.

Head Coach Chuck Pagano turned down a one year contract extension in May. If he walks after the season he probably won't be out of work long.

I'd say any team outside of Green Bay, Seattle and New England would swap quarterbacks with the Colts without a moments hesitation.

I don't know if Pagano is blasting Luck or the GM but he said yesterday it's been this way the whole time he's been here(weak OL and issues at RB and WR) he should be used to it by now and be more comfortable playing with it.

Essentially, yes the personnel around him sucks but it always has, he has to get used to it. My guess is a double whammy, you be more careful, and hey GM get us some players.

Barring a turnaround I would assume Pagano won't be back.

Holy Crap, Bowles' J E T S are legit, is more like it.

The defense is, the offense was pretty pathetic. Considering all the TO's, and the Colts missign the top 3 CB's, the Jets should have scored many more points.

But that defense is legit.

3 players from same team as starters is fantasy suicide anyway why would you do that??

I was expecting Luck to be throwing 3-5 TDs a game. I've got TY Hilton as one of my starting WRs and ended up grabbing Gore to fill my flex position. It's just how the draft fell for me in my 14 team league. I wasn't happy about it.

I think the Colts O will turn things around. In their first two games they faced two of the best defenses in the league.

We have a guy in one league who picks as many Patriots as he can every year. Then tries to trade to get more. he figures he loses the bye week but thinks it works best the rest of the season.

He wins games but never gets too far in the playoffs. Just too spread out scoring wise but he does it every year.
