A few WR notes from practice:
Weaver: great catch in 7on7, making a contested catch against the sideline while hitting the ground
Dortch: consistently created separation in 1on1
MHJ: consistently won 1on1 and able to extend and make catches with multiple defenders in his face

Funny all the local press coming out is basically saying Indy is wiping our asses. This is concerning or their press is a bit biased.

This is pre season.  :bang::)
Yeah but this is a practice against someone other than our own.

It’s a really good gauge of what we have as a team talent wise.

I definitely remembered last year’s practice with Minney. It was evident we were in trouble not just the QB position.

This is a very good Colts team not unlike our first 8 games of the season.

Bro if you needed intersquads to tell you the 2023 Arizona Cardinals roster was basura and not, like, reviewing the depth chart or following the entire offseason, I don't know what to say really.

Highlights don't tell the full story obviously.

Anthony Richardson looks like he has all day to throw (in a few team drills) and that power run looked like the kinda untouched play you see in a HS game.

Despite everything, we were a 4-13 team last year, signed three major free agents, and drafted two first-rounders. We have a bunch of third-rounders, but few third-round picks develop into quality NFL players, and fewer still do so immediately.

The Colts were one play from making the playoffs last year.

Im starting to really like our squad. Think the offense can be really good (knock on wood for MW health and that Paris is a smooth transition to LT). I actually like our back 7. No pass rush can be crippling to a defense, but hopefully Gannon/Rallis can be creative.

Unfortunately, other than MHJ and a healthy Kyler (which are both big additions), this roster isn't that much different than last year. Still sitting on a bunch of cap space with lots of holes.

I think the Moore-Jones transition is an upgrade and our DL is way better. OL might be worse overall. Secondary is mildly better.

We started Marco Wilson and Kei’Trel Clark in week 1 last year. Yikes.
