craziest thing about this pick is as awful the Lakers are they still only have the SEVENTH worst record in the league.

Ha! I was watching the end of their game last night and I found myself saying just that. I felt a little dirty. :(

It's not much of a rivalry right now and the Suns stand to gain from it, so indulge. :)

Their fans also want them to suck more than win and lose out on the pick.

Yeah, but proponents of tanking don't watch the games.
I know I was prepared to find a new hobby last year when there was all the talk about the Suns tanking. If they had lost 40 games there's no way I would have watched them all.

That's cause the Suns didn't exactly have any exciting young players to watch with Len injured and Goodwin behind a ton of guards in the rotation.

When the Thunder won like 20 games in the early in the careers of Durant & Westbrook, you don't think fans went there to watch them?

The Thunder are the only ticket in town and were brand new to the city. A more apt comparison would be Milwaukee... the t'Wolves... the Bucks...

So no, people don't watch them.

Lakers blowing out the Warriors without Kobe...lolz

Seven Lakers In Double-Figures During Win Over Warriors Without Kobe

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors by the final score of 115-105 without Kobe Bryant.

The Lakers had seven players finish in double-figures, including 18 points for Carlos Boozer.

"Tell [Kobe] to take the backseat for a little bit," said Nick Young, who had 15 points. "He can be 'Driving Miss Daisy' and I can be Miss Daisy and drive."

Lakers are pretty much better in every category with Kobe out.
