Deebo and especially aj brown would have brought us to a different record

Im one of the few, but not totally impressed so far by Byron Murphy coverage skills, but hopefully is just bad coaching and schemes affecting his performances
We most likely lose against the Falcons & Lions without Byron.

Lmao, Ravens lost their starting Center & replaced him with a rookie center & still didn’t lose a beat.

Our loss in Baltimore is looking better and better as everyone else seems to get steamrolled by them.

That WR/RB playing QB for Ravens is doing pretty good again.Eat some more crow Gil Brandt and other experts (Bill Polian) who said Lamar can't play QB in the NFL.
Sure they got it wrong & so did I. But, every great personnel guy gets some wrong.

Bottom line is that Brandt & Polian are HOFers & were great at their jobs for 40 years! No shame in that when you’re 2 of the best talent evaluators in NFL history!!!

17-3 is cool and all, but let's not pretend like he is the main reason for that record. There at least a dozen QBs in the league that could have started those 20 games and came out with at least a similar record.
He was still 6-2 with a poor Niners team before this season. Trends are trends.

Don’t bear hug PFF bro, point to a game where he was legitimately bad with your eyes.

This...Just like over-evaluating the college kids at the combine...the best bet is to put on the tape and see if the player passes the eyeball test. Murphy passes!

Yep. For a team that throws a lot in rhythm, short passes....we don't have many guys that can get YAC. Those guys are capable of that. Just seems to be a lot of space between Murphy and Wrs. However, he is young so hopefully he can be coached up.

Lamar Jackson season so far 24 TD passes 5 interceptions 67% completion rate and 9 WINS 2 LOSSES.Not too shabby for a guy who some ********* said should be a RB/WR.Big improvement in all areas of his game and also 700 yards rushing this year.

Yeah, we could of had him? :(

But, then, would he be having those numbers?.

Probably not. :)
I think we'd be better although he wouldn't be as productive as he is with the Ravens. Thats assuming Kliff would have committed to the run. Which I think he would have. The defense would have only allowed us to be so much better. Not sure how Lamar would handle being down 14 early.

Lamar's fearlessness in the run game allows for the Ravens to play that kind of ball and helps you win games. Long term he's still going to have to throw more/better. However, right now he's dominant at what he's doing.

Booger McFarland admitted as much on NFL Radio yesterday. Said he couldn't have been more wrong.

imo, Gil Brandt may be one of the greatest talent evaluators but man is he hard to listen to. Worst radio personality ever.

Lamar has a good coach, good RB and some good WRs plus he is a big dude that can flat out run. SK would never have put a team together like that, he still hasn't!

I will go Gil Brandt / Bill Polian here. At this rate with this style he will have the career longevity of a typical NFL RB. Win now, live in the present.

With Jackson last season, Wilks probably wins a couple more games and is still the coach.

considering Jackson runs/scrambles a average 10 times a game and has yet to miss any time ? Jackson 6`2 212..not a small guy and he is picking his spots better this year when running. Kyler Murray runs/scrambles a average 6 times a game and he is 5`10.5 210 ? and he has survived so far.So you never know when or if the big hit could come for any QB..in the pocket or scrambling...as for win now ..live in the present..yes Jackson is doiung the win now part.15-3 as a starting QB.

Depends on how soon he starts/how long McCoy lasts.

McCoy for all his faults did have success during the Tebow run. So maybe he starts early. However, I think Wilks was 1 and done either way.

I actually really like Max Williams. However, all these good TE's the past few years and Keim got none of them.

Lamar Jackson's career may be over at 30...there are RB's who have had HOF just based on what they did before 30. If Lamar can maximize his youth he'll be worth it if he dominates in his 20s. The Ravens have a stable organization so they'll get the most out of him.

The question is if someone finds a way to stop him and others can copy that. His passing motion is still very, akward and very ... unstable. That might haunt him some day.

I really like Lamar but going to a well run organization like Baltimore really helps. I’m not trying to take anything away from Jackson’s play which has been outstanding but Baltimore seems to make the right decisions every year.
