He/she predicts for the Rams to have an 11-5 record overall and a 5-1 record in the division this coming season? :bang:

That person must be smoking the good stuff if he/she thinks that is what will happen this season.

Rams 11-5 Division 5-1 Loss at Seattle Week 17
9ers 11-5 Division 3-3 Losses at Seahawks week 2, at Rams week 4, v Rams week 13
Seahawks 10-6 3-3 Losses at Cardinals week 7 (Cards are improved), at Rams week 8, at 49ers week 14

Well, if we end up at 9-7 with the above, NFC West will be outstanding.

I think it's going to be a tuff road for the Rams to go 5 -- and -- 0 in the div. after they start out 0-- and -- 1 in the div.

How is this any different than some our bold predictions? This is the time of year everyone gets to be optimistic about their team. Turnaround can be quick in the NFL.

Absolutely! There's nothing wrong with a fan being optimistic. The real world will come crashing down on you soon enough.

The rams almost won out in the division last year. If Bradford can play halfway decent, sadly, I think they have a very good chance of winning 10+ games.

Not so sure. No more Steven Jackson. They did play tough in the division though.

If the Cardinals defense is as good as last year, the offensive line protects Palmer so he can pass the ball to our open receivers, the running backs are healthy and have holes to run through, then nothing can stop us....

Yeah. :D

Absolutely no way. In my opinion, not that its 'bad', but they have the worst D in the division and defense is going to be their strong suit. Bradford will be the worst QB in the division, the lost stephen jackson, and their only weapon is a rookie.

4 wins thus year at best.

This sounds like the guy I car pool with. Every day I have to hear how the RAMS are going to destroy the Cardinals. Keeps harping on how our Oline gave up 8+ sacks last year to the RAMS here in St. Louis. Palmer is not going to get killed and etc, etc, etc. I just tell him it is a different season and let see how it plays out.

At least he does not think the Rams will be better than Seattle or San Fran.

They didn't "lose" Steven Jackson, they let him walk. That D is also very good IMO. The line is good, and Dunbar are beasts, Mikel is solid, they added Ogletree and the secondary is scary. Janoris Jenkins is already top 5 in the league, I like T.J. McDonald and Finnigan is a guy I would always love to have. Chris Givens is a threat, Richardson impresses me as well and the team signed Jared Cook in the offseason. If Austin is legit and they get any sort of Quick's potential this year, that offense could be very legit.

I really liked Sam Bradford coming out of O.U. It will be interesting to see how he does now that the Rams have finally put some pieces around him.

I think the NFC West is THE best division in the NFL from top to bottom. How healthy each team stays at quarterback will play a large part in how well each team does IMO.

Losing Stephen Jackson will hurt them. How much is unknown.

The flip side is they finally have some weapons at WR.

We'll see what Bradford can do. He's had good moments and bad moments. Like one 15 game stretch where Skelton threw more TD's and fewer INT's then him. Yep.

But last year he seemed to turn it around. Now they've given him adequate weapons. If he takes a step back for a year or two, he's gone. But he's got a great shot of having his best seasons ahead with the infusion of the talent they got.

11-5 is a bit much, but you never know. They only lost one game in the division last year going 4-1-1. So it's possible. But I think anyone in this division can win 11 games if things go right, including us. I just don't feel it's very likely for us. Nor do I think it is for the Rams.

But hey as great as the Niners and Seahawks look, one of them could go 6-10 next year. Unlikely, yep. But it happens.

I think there's are a few fans on every message board that have high hopes.

Rams 11-5? Wouldn't surprise me. Seattle went from 7-9 in 2011 to 11-5 last year.
