This is a scary schedule for a GM who is notorious for his ponderous negotiating style.

So you think at this point we will let Breaston go, but extend 2 rather unproven players in 2012? I hope the world does come to an end if thats the case. I think you really need to lay off the negative juice man. Your posts have been quite woe-is-us lately.

I'm not sure that's what he's saying. I think he's saying that those are the guys that Graves'll have to deal with a couple of years down the line. Breaston has to be dealt with this offseason, and with Dockett probably getting a new deal and Fitz on the immediate horizon, I don't know if putting out money for a WR who is just a little above average (looking at Football Outsiders' stats, I was surprised at how good Steve really was last year) is a good idea. A team like Seattle invested a ton of money at LB and WR while neglecting their lines, and look where it's gotten them.

They won't be "unproven" any longer in 2012. It looks like a positive statement in thinking that those two will be playing well enough to be extended two years from now.
