Vikings should at least look into Mark Sanchez as a stopgap. (He's on the trading block.)

I hope that, if it happens, whoever finds photo or video of this injury knows how to use the spoiler tags here. This sounds awful. Poor guy. :(

VERY SAD news! At the end of the day, these guys have friends and family that care about them. I felt the same way for Mike Jenkins during the Texans' game.

San Fran might be ready to listen to trade offers for Kap with all that has been going on there , if I'm the Vikes I would consider that .

Brings back memories of Timm Rosenbach. He shredded his knee on a non-contact play in training camp and retired.

He actually came back and tried to play, but he had a bad case of the yips...and was terrified of getting hurt again...and then he retired. It was sad...The previous year, he was the only QB in the NFL to take every snap of every game of the season, showing durability and toughness.

He tried and failed to make it in the CFL too.

Feel bad for Teddy as well as his team mates and Vikes fans. We know how much this hurts around here.

I feel really bad for the kid. He seems to be an all around nice guy and a heck of a player. I hope he can come back but this really sucks for the Vikings since they should have contended for the NFC championship this season.

Jmo but let's not get ahead of ourselves the kid is a nice prospect still but that's about it. In his 2 seasons he threw for no more then 14 TDs each season and a very average 3200 yards... He's a game manager at best who throws 5-10 yard passes with regularity. He is a total captain check down... All that being said with AP another year older and still no guaranteed "playmakers" at WR I'm not sure they would do much better then last year... His greatest asset is he doesn't take many risks and has few turnovers.

Sucks for him the Vikings and his development.. But I really don't think they will be much of a downturn to Shaun Hill personally.

I doubt even one single Vikings coach or player would agree with you. Even if they could be anonymous. Their reaction to the injury is 180 to your take.

Of course he's the starter and by all accounts a super nice kid... I wouldn't expect them to act any different he's super well liked. Doesn't change what my eyes see on the field when he plays and his completely average stat line.

Yes. But they know Shaun Hill just as well as they know Bridgewater. If they thought he would be just as good, then you wouldn't see them being so distraught over TB's injury.

I'll do an avatar bet that if Shaun Hill remains healthy the entire year he has more then 14TDs. And 3200 yards... :)

Ok.sure. He could be the next Kurt Warner. You never know. But I will take the bet if ti includes the Vikings making the playoffs like they did last year.

I'm with ya! I've seen nothing special from the kid on the field either.
