Wow

That's crazy town right there.

I know he has some injury issue but Richardson is an amazing athlete.

Starting Hoyer at QB, No RB's, Horton led defense. The Browns are starting to look like the Cards at the end of last season.

Very interesting they'd give up on Richardson.

Colts 2014 1st round pick should be bottom half of the 1st round.

He's not paid much. Still has what, 2 years left on rookie deal after this one?

Also given it's a major trade during the season I think the Colts fleeced the Browns.

I think this can work for both teams. Browns can now tank without Richardson, get the 1st pick to take Teddy and then use the pick from Indy to take PBA. Running backs can be found through out the draft.

Lol. So the Browns turned the #3 pick, a fourth rounder, a fifth rounder, and a seventh rounder into a mid/late first. Great trade for the Colts.

Browns now need a RB for this year but in general are in a rebuilding mode.

So I'm thinking: Ryan Williams for Joe Thomas.

IMO Richardson isn't anything special & I said on draft day, the best RB in the 2012 draft was Martin & so far I've been right. :D

Wow!

Still Richardson was a holdover from the last staff. So I'm guessing he didn't fit with what the current staff was looking to do. At least they got a 1st rounder back for him. Things are looking ugly in Cleveland this year!

God hates Cleveland.

What are they going to market to those poor Browns fans? Josh Gordon is back--come watch Brian Hoyer hoist the ball down the field 55 times a game? What's going to happen with that team come December? Come watch Joe Thomas stonewall people?

There must be something wrong with him that we don't know. I wouldn't be surprised to see him spend the majority of the remainder of his career injured.

"The Factory of Sadness"

At least that beats all of the Cardinals slogans. LOL

Why doesn't Trent Richardson fit #Browns system? Think of backs Norv had in SD: LaDainian Tomlinson, Sproles, Michael Turner. Very different

For #Browns coach Rob Chudzinski, this Trent Richardson trade extends his grace period. Zero expectation to win now.

Final note on Richardson, I don't see how this Colts OL is better than Browns. CLE has top notch C and LT. Colts have, um, well, yeah, guys

Next year: #Browns have 2 1s, a 2, two 3s. May want to trade up for a QB, and now they have the artillery to do it. Will suffer this year

So, if they do not get the first pick, they can use the Indy pick to move up.

Looks like McGahee is on his way to Cleveland

Chris Mortensen ‏@mortreport 1h
Norv Turner (ex-Chargers) certainly appreciated what he saw of Willis McGahee (ex-Broncos) which makes sense in now signing the RB.

Richardson has not shown to be the next Adrian Peterson which is what one expects/needs when you use the #3 pick overall for a RB. I think the Browns made the right move with this trade.

Wonder if Horton punched a wall when he got the news. Hoyer as QB and no RB worth a spit on the Offense. Deja vu all over again.

Of course this means that Indi has to release a player.

I'll get the jump on everyone whoever they cut:

I agree. Richardson is pretty overated at this point. He had a very good OL to run behind and he's been pretty pedestrain.

Maybe he'll flourish in Indy but if I'm Cleveland, I make this trade. Just another reason why, in today's NFL, you don't take RB's very high in the draft.
