that cracks me up. I spent 25 yrs in Phoenix... but I moved to Louisiana... one of those "record days" is an average rain hour around Baton Rouge, lol... that damn place rains three days a week and get 4 or 5 inches nearly every time...all year round,..wet, humid, muddy...you know its gonna rain soon when things start to dry off, lol

Local county rain gauge says 3.4 inches for this storm, and it's still coming down in NE Phx

It has literally been downpouring for the past 90 mins here in North Scottsdale! I drove home from work at 6:15 and it was a light to moderate rain the entire way from downtown PHX to North Scottsdale... took me just over an hour. And starting at about 8pm, the skies opened up bigtime and haven't let up! I mean WOW! Getting Flash Flood warnings on the TV and now on my phone... This is nutty!

Where? Just sprinkling now for me.

It was crazy last night, in the morning and just a few hours ago. I’m surprised the power didn’t go out b/c it usually does with less rain over these last couple months.

Not much different here in SC. We could get 2 inches of rain in less than an hour. Of course we have vegetation that sucks it up whereas AZ is so dry it can't suck it up fast enough and no real vegetation to suck it up.
