My son is a Patriots fan and is headed into his third year of playing football so I took the 75 minute drive to Foxboro yesterday to view their training camp.

1) It was super crowded, I don't know how TCs are in AZ, but this one had to have had at least 10,000 people.

2) The Patriots do a wonderful job of providing an interactive experience for their fans. It was an awesome experience to get so close to the action. They also have a lot of activities for kids as well.

3) The practice fields are just outside of Gillette Stadium and they are beautiful, as is Gillette Stadium.

4) Their fans were great, it was a Friday and the Pats still drew a huge crowd. It was also 80 degrees and sunny so the weather was beautiful.

5) After the practice, selected players went around and signed some autographs. The players were great with the fans, took their time and tried to get as many things signed as they could.

6) As many of you know I am not a huge Pats fan, but I was very impressed by the organization and the experience and am glad I went. It was a lot of fun.

As for some things I saw

The Patriots are a very disciplined team, even in practice. Brady looked sharp, Gronk was dressed, but I did not see him run any drills (not saying he didn't just saying I didn't see if he did). Mallet has a huge arm. Garapollo looked like a rookie. He under threw a few balls and had a pick that I saw and struggled in the red zone on the 7 on 7 drill I saw, but he also did a good job of sticking with it.

I know this is an Arizona Cards forum and I will always be a die hard Cards fan, but I thought you guys may be interested in getting a TC perspective on another team. Anyways here are the pics.

Live in the wrong area. All of his friends are Patriot fans. I need to move closer to AZ!

All his friends are Patriots fans is no excuse. I've lived in NY all my life, excepting two years in the Army, and all my friends were Yankee, Dodger or Giant (baseball) fans, or Giant fans, football. I decided to become a Cardinal fan in both football and baseball. Just tell him that the Patriots aren't going to be very good in a couple of years when Tom Brady retires.

You leave that Boy Alone let him sing his song! We get more bang for the buck than any other sports fans, The roller coaster of emotions every play, game and season in Arizona Wreck stupid Patriot fans! I've seen it repeatedly.

My old roommate grew up in Maine, but supports me as not just a Card fan but all our pro sports. Yea we play catch with a wrecking ball a lot - But when we win - We appreciate it on a primal level. Every moment just freakin matters more!

I was in Boston in 2011when the Bruins won Sir Stanley's cup- They sold nothing but their own towns teams gear in the Mall- were proud of it- like they were scared to death that someone from their fan base would crawl from under a rock and sneak out.

well get on with your bad inbred selves already, cause In AZ we can get anything from anywhere - have everyone from anywhere- We have been doing so much with so little for so long- THAT WE CAN DO ANYTHING WITH NOTHING!

I would rather be a losing get down and waller in the dirt naked- Arizona Cardinal Football Club Fan- than a winning 49 patriots ram a seahawk fan at any moment in infinity.

Because the football Gods - forge their finest metals- from the flames of adversity! and that defines us.

CARDINAL UP AND TAKE IT LIKE A FAN!

Write it down on the calender. I 100% agree with this.

No other sports team, EVER, does it like the Cardinals have done over the years.

Last year was the tamest season I have watched......possibly ever, by the Cardinals. But, we were competitive, and won, so I don't care.
