i have no idea how you scooling works to be honest other than that you have college after high school (and you have to pass each year at high school ?!?!)

in England you go to high school from ages 12 to 15/16 where you sit your final exams. after that you are free to work or do A-levels. After that you can go to uni which i suppose is like your college!!

for the record i was at Seaton Burn High School!!

then about 10 years later went to Uni of Northumbria (part time whilst working) where i read Law for 4 years.

here's some info regarding a "typical" US school system. In parts of AZ we do it different, with jr high being 7-8-9 grades & high school 10-11-12 grade

typically one starts Kindergarten when they are 5.

They start 1st grade when they are 6.
Jr high typically is 7-8 grade (sometimes 9th depending on where you live). High school is typically 9th-12th grade.

Ages & grades (typical school)

Kindergarten = 5 yrs old when starting in the fall
1st grade = 6
2nd = 7
3rd = 8
4th = 9
5th = 10
6th = 11
7th = 12
8th = 13
9th = 14 (freshman)
10th = 15 (sophomore)
11th = 16 (junior)
12th = 17, (senior) grad when you are 18 in the spring

college typically starts when you are 18 in the fall
typical college = 4 yrs, but many take a longer time

hope this helps

We were competitive in something? Wow. I only remember us being good at men's basketball a couple of years, and our baseball team was solid...anyways, I sort of knew her...she was in an english class of mine I think...

I'm a Redcoat. Class of 86. I was on the JV team when Feagles was a senior but we all used to practice together. Also knew Jeff from the boyscouts few years before high school. I saw Jeff after a game during Buddy Ball and he was just as nice as ever.

Anyhow, I still have dreams about Gerard and High School football practice and everything else. I think its worse for us because the school closed and they tore it down and whatnot. It still devours my heart everytime I drive past those apartments that are there now. In my dream, we are always about to play a big game, and I'm getting the pads on again, the helmet, everything else about to go out there and kick some butt-but I always wake up before we take the field. It freakin kills me. Anyway, I'm glad I played all four years back in the day. I don't think I'd forgive myself now, if I would have taken some crappy after school job instead of playing, the way a lot of my friends did.
