Between the two of us, I'd say that I might be a bit more objective. I couldn't care less about him or the Bears. He's been decent but also hasn't shown to be elite or potentially so. He isn't nearly as bad as he looked last year but I don't think there's any reason to elevate him to something he's not.I’m not just basing it off this one game.... But none the less the kid still had some very good plays in this game and was completing his passes at a 70% clip in the prior 6 contests. His demeanor his ability and even his press confernece... The kid is impressive. Don’t know what to tel you if you don’t see it.
All I know is all those people claiming 2 weeks into the season that Trubisky is garbage need to seriously reevaluate their opinion.... That kid is going to be VERY good for a long time.

About Trubisky. He seems to be a fan or at least trying to defend a prediction he made if he's bringing up who said what from before the season. Then chastising those that don't agree with him. Seems less than objective to me.what exactly makes you more objective than Shane... especially when it comes to QBs?

Well, I agree that he isn't "complete garbage" but that doesn't mean that if I don't also agree that he is "very good" that I don't know what I'm seeing. If nothing else, he's been anything but consistent. IMO a very good QB doesn't suffer from that.No predictions at all… Just lots of people on here at the beginning of the year that said he was complete garbage. Clearly not the case and after watching he imoresses me. And I fully believe he has a bright future nothing more nothing less.
Dude’s a way better runner than he is a passer from what I’ve watched so far. He really can’t connect deep at all right now. He might be good one day, but he’s just too inconsistent at the moment. Thought was a mistake to take him over Watson & Mahomes & it’s really looking like that, especially compared to Mahomes, by far.I don't think he sucks but I don't like his throwing motion, he kind of "slings" the ball instead of the standard follow through. He's got some skills, he moves well, and he seems pretty tough, I just think he doesn't have the best mechanics.
nfl said:The Miami Dolphins receiver has been sidelined by a quad injury for much of this season and has been held out of all but two games, while new acquisitions Albert Wilson and Danny Amendola pace the Fins in receiving in the post-Jarvis Landry era.
With Parker mostly phased out of Miami's offensive game plan, trade talk around the receiver has started to build. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported this weekend the Dolphins are shopping Parker ahead of the Oct. 30 trade deadline and want at least a third-round draft pick in exchange for his services. Several teams have already contacted the Dolphins about Parker, Pelissero added.
In light of that news and Miami making Parker a surprise inactive before Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions, Parker's agent Jimmy Gould criticized Dolphins coach Adam Gase and said he was not trying to force a move out of town.
"No I haven't, but I find the decision to make DeVante inactive today by Coach Gaze (sic) incompetent and insulting," Gould said in a statement obtained by Pelissero. "It's also just not true and I am sick of hearing him say my player is not healthy. This is the third game this year that DeVante should have played in when you include the Jets and [New England]. DeVante is healthy and with injuries and [the Dolphins'] 6.1 [YPC], DeVante could have and should have been allowed to contribute.
"What a horrific decision by Coach Gaze (sic) and he needs to take a very long look in the mirror and make himself inactive."
Parker was a full participant in practice this week.
Gase explained after the game his decision to sit Parker, telling reporters, per ESPN, "That's what we decided to do this game and we had those four guys that had been kind of rolling together and we wanted to get [Kalen] Ballage up and he's doing a lot on special teams."
Gould added, via NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, "I am responding that [Gase] is not telling the truth and his decision was an example of poor management and cost the Team the best opportunity to win. He continues attacking the health of my client and that is not acceptable. Parker is not only healthy but wants to help this team win and the only real question that should be asked is how does Coach Gase justify his own incompetence. They averaged only 6.1 yds per catch [against Detroit]. They needed Parker who is completely healthy and was in full participation all week and in warm ups this morning.
"Something smells in Miami."
With the trade deadline approaching, don't expect this stench to linger for long.
AgreedThe Chiefs are a fun team to watch. Speed

This doesn't read he'll be good some day, it means he's good now and going to continue to be good:that's great and all but you're distorting shane's statement. He never said he was very good RIGHT NOW. He thinks he WILL be very good based on the progress he's seen this season.
You can't make the case your objectivity is better in a discussion when you distort the other person's statement to begin with.
Mahomes and Hill are the best show in football this year.Bengals doing their best to outdo Cards Thursday night performance
I rarely watch the Bengals and when I do, it's usually because I've got a FFL player going. But I think without fail, Dalton and the offense always look pathetic. Obviously they have some success throughout the year but if they are consistently that bad "under the lights", what does their management think is going to change?
It's almost a curse for them to be just good enough to not get fired.
Mahomes and Hill are the best show in football this year.
After seeing Mahommes draw a personal foul call when being touched in bounds, I don't know that any team will be able to stop him. I can understand that "hit" was a little late but it was still initiated in bounds and relatively benign. It was two hand touch and it was still a penalty. NFL has their refs sucking more than ever.Rams are a better team. Mahomes and Hill wouldn’t be dancing around with Aaron Donald in their face
Yeah, he didn't go all the way to Belichick levels of rubbing it in, but putting the starters out there with a 4 and 5 TD lead was pushing it.Good Sportsmanship brought to you by Coach Andy Reid.
