Cardinals

I started to post, "Thank goodness that's not true anymore with 50 some odd sold out games in a row." Then I remembered living there for 7 years. Out of the millions that live in the valley only a small percentage cheer on the Cards. The others? Hanging on to the team they knew prior to moving to AZ (understood, but show the local team some support), or they just don't follow football.

On Sunday mornings rampaging through the local Frys getting last minute tailgating supplies you wouldn't believe the folks giving me a weird look as most of the time I was the only one in the store with a Cardinal jersey on prepping for the game (note: this was in Scottsdale so no real surprise). Just weird having been in other cities with football teams such as St. Louis, Chicago, and Dallas. You can't go anywhere in these towns without seeing jerseys everywhere.
