I just can't see us giving away our all nba third team guard for a lesser guard.

Man, I really hope they don't being Rondo to the Suns. Not a fan. Not worth the money he wants.

I guess it got glossed over, but in one of the tweets, it hints at a three way trade. Indy-Bos-Phx

Names rumored. Dragic. Rondo.

Who else? No clue

But considering McD came from Boston, I almost wouldn't be surprised if McD wanted Rondo, Indy got Dragic, and who knows what Boston gets.

Who knows how true any of this is, but I GUESS this is what they are hinting at.

Swapping Dragic for Rondo is beyond terrible. I don't even think Lance Blanks would be that stupid.

This to me is a very plausible scenario and in fact, my guess is that a very similar trade (maybe NOT THIS specific one) is looming in our future. I am not convinced we can convince Lebron to come here or even Melo for that matter. I just don't buy the Suns have that kind of draw.

Which means the Suns stick with where they are at with a ton of cap space left or they pull off some 3 way trade for a combination of players. Sarver said in a recent interview he learned from spending cap space just to spend it. So....that leaves the Suns seeking real value in trade scenarios if they are gong to try and utilize cap.

It seems like nowadays 3 way trades are more likely to net you the kind of value you are looking for when spending cap.

Aside from George, who do they have to offer?

Exactly. Keep walking.

There's nothing the Pacers have that we would want except for George who they won't trade.

I don't even think Dragic would be a good fit in their super slow offense.

Suns trading away Goran Dragic, possibly to the Pacers? Not so fast, says a source with knowledge of the talks. “No, no, no,” the source said. “Nothing to that. The team and Goran, they’re still committed to each other.” According to an ESPN report, the Pacers — looking to upgrade at point guard — have engaged the Suns in talks about a possible deal that would send Dragic to Indiana. Consider those talks to be decidedly one-sided. Sporting News - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors/tag/phoenix_suns#sthash.yrU7G4oq.dpuf

Well let's not get carried away. :)

Blanks wanted Felton over Dragic.

Good point. OTOH, we might well be the proud owner of Andrew Wiggins had we gone that route.

I prefer the way we went.

Same here. It's unbelievable how much better the Suns are situated after the departure of Blanks and his prodigy, Michael Beasley.

What if they offered Hibbert?

Nope. he hasn't really made any progress in 3 years now, and he is terribly inconsistent.

10.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks last year in 29 minutes per game is not impressive, especially considering Miles Plumlee averaged 8.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1 block. Now, I realize that Hibbert is a significant presence on defense whereas Plumlee is an average defender, and I realize Hibbert has 4 inches and 30 lb advantage, and you can't teach that. For the same price, I'd take Hibbert. Hell, for double the price I'd take Hibbert, but not at this price, especially if it costs us an almost-all star/ 3rd all-NBA team player.

This post is hilarious.
Because I see what you did there .

Or am I the only one who thinks you're being funny?

It is a legitimate question.

Beyond George, Hibbert is probably the next most 'valuable' asset they have. I'm not suggesting that's what the Suns should do but as far as rim protection goes, it doesn't get much better than that.

I guess it could be argued that a S&T with Stephenson would be more worthwhile but I'd rather not have a personality like that on a roster with so many young players.
