Also nothing wrong with our D line. It's wasn't great but it wasn't the dumpster fire some are making out. Still missing Peters and Lawrence. Kept Aaron Jones to 3.9 YPC. Made some big stops when they were required. A lot of their longer runs that upped their YPC came in their own half.

And you can't sell out vs the run with Rodgers at QB. Rodgers is like a coach out there checking plays depending what he sees from the defense. Hard to counter that.

Don't see Keim making any moves because there are no moves that make this D line better.
If you didn't see anything wrong with our DL, well, I guess you weren't watching. I mean, was there even a DL on the field playing for us? Sure didn't look like it while the Pack were running the ball at will down our throats.

Cool. I'd like to know exactly what happened though. Why did Green not get the correct information? Did Kyler mumble the play call? Did Green hear the play call clearly, but misinterpret it? Did anybody else not know what was going on?

Almost no time left, high pressure, game hanging in the balance, and then something goes wrong, specifically on offense. I've seen this movie before.
Any public why's at this point would serve no purpose other to let someone throw someone else under a bus. Winning teams don't do that. Whys are for fans. We are not that important over the course of a season. The whys will happen in the film room. Its our job to trust theyll fix it.

Your colors are stupid and no reasonable human wants to live in your state.

Also I have enough salt for the Pacific ocean right now
Green Bay fans are 90% frontrunner.

And yeah, I'm going to to go there because I feel like being extra petty....Packers fans are usually fat cheese eating midwesterners with no culture. Aaron Rodgers is a giant ******.

All the hate directed at AJ Green is over the top. How many of you have made a mistake at work? Guilty here. Nice to not have people ripping me when I do. These guys are human and are not going to go a whole season without some mistakes.

Considering no Watt, no Peters and no Lawrence I thought it did fine. Most of their big gains were deep in their own half and when it got to the crunch I thought they did pretty well in stopping them including in the EZ. And it isn't why we lost the game. We lost because of a muffed punt, a bad INT and then consequently that last play.

This was a major problem too. I know we were behind some, but never by so much we had to abandon the run.

True but we ran what 53 plays? It was the lack of plays in the first half and being behind IMO.

We were never out of the game. I think the most we were down ever was 10?

And with Nuk injured it makes no sense to run so little and put so much on Kyler. Especially when you consider most of those runs were in the RZ.

Team surely missed JJ presence in the locker room

But where were the other vets and their leadership?

JJ was there in the locker room and on the sideline. Saw him during the game. But certainly will miss him on the field.

We didn't lose last night because of JJ. We lost because we gave them 2 short fields where they scored 10 points.

Oh I wanted to run more too said it in the game thread I just mean we ran so few plays in the first half it sort of skewed the play calling.

I wanted to run more because of Josh Jones, he wrecked the first drive of the 2nd half allows a sack and then just turns loose the guy who wound up rushing Kyler into that bad throw that got tipped and picked. We desperately need Hudson back so we can move Garcia to RG IMO.

I think much of the early Kyler struggles were just he didn't trust Jones, or Harlow. There's a play that's a pretty clear QB draw where Kyler starts to run and campbell takes him down. Harlow is literally standing there in front waiting for Kyler to take off so he can lead, he didn't block anybody. You can kind of see Kyler after the play has the look on his face like Josh is bad enough now I have two of you guys to worry about?

Considering we won't have Watt going forward, and we are average at best on the DL without him, that is cause for great concern. The fact that VJ allowed the Pack to dominate TOP and absolutely dictate this game through their offense showed a lot, too. We lost because of a muffed punt, a bad INT, a boneheaded play by AJ, and a gross inability to get the other team's offense off the field. I love the goal line stand, but apart from that, our D was pretty trash.

No, it wasn't.

We kept Aaron Rodgers to his lowest passing yards of the season. He had less yards, less YPC, lower comp % than the game they got spanked by the Saints.

They had 151 yards rushing at 4.4 YPC. It's not great, but it's not the end of the world considering we had only 4 healthy interior linemen and they had to play so many snaps. And we lost Zaven Collins early.

Had we not give up 2 very short fields on bad mistakes the D probably holds GB to sub 20 points, likely sub 17.

Agree to disagree. No worries. Not looking to start a flame war after this tough loss. It's just a tough one to take.

I see the stats, but if you watched then you must have seen GB using an effective running game to control the game and rack up a huge time-of-possession advantage. Rodgers didn't throw that much because he didn't have to Britcard. I mean, it was pretty obvious.

Not saying we lost because of our defense, because I don't think that's true. But you can believe that SF and every other team we play for the rest of the year will make a concerted effort to attack our front seven with the run game.
