All blame goes to Hinch for this loss. He brings in Raush and lets him pitch to two batters, both who got rbi singles. I wonder if Josh Byrnes made that call? This was a horrible loss.

The only reason I will watch this team from here on out is if A) Upton or Parra are batting, B) Danny or Max are starting, or C) Qualls has a save opp for my fantasy team. Good grief. I just got a text from my buddy that made me laugh:

"It's sad that we are in a rebuilding stage and we already know that 90% of these guys are garbage. Time to rebuild on our rebuilding."

p.s. Never, ever, EVER let Davis throw over 100 pitches.

Jesus Christ - relax

We just had 4 come from behind games of our own. This is bound to happen every so often.

Buncha bandwagoners.

At least be consistent.

Why would the GM make an on the field decision?

I wasn't being serious. With the rumors going around that JB makes the line-up card, I put that out there. I should of put some kind of smile at the end of the sentence.

I was serious that Hinch is to blame by putting Rausch in there. After that first batther wacked a hit off of him, I think everyone who was watching knew he was going to give up another hit.

It's very frustrating watching this team. They can't even hold a 6-run lead. The fans having been booing them a lot lately, so maybe it's better if they play on the road.

Need to take the next two to take the series. As you can see, even though this team frustrates the h#ll out of me, I am still an optomist. There is always the wild card. ):

And Diamondbacks gave up runs late in those games as well. It's a problem that needs to be fixed. :bang:

I get it. I believe Melvin (and to a lesser extent Webby and Drew being injured)was the problem as I have been noticing a difference in the hitters lately.

And I think the recent road trip helped us turn the corner. And the bullpen was one of the reasons we were able to win those games.

Thats why I am cutting them some slack. I am hoping we have turned the corner now under Hinch. It remains to be seen whether we dug ourselves too much of a hole at the beginning of the season but lets take a deep breath and see how the season plays out and most importantly how our young "stars" develop.

There are going to be ups and downs.

And if I keep reading all these GD posts that say "screw Hinch" and "Byrnes better not be making the calls" after each blown call I am going to explode.

These are the same people that were bitching about Melvin. And you were right about that and we got a change. Now lets try giving this new staff a little more then a couple weeks. Early returns have been promising.

News flash. No one on this board is smarter then Josh Byrnes.

Now Steve Kerr and Rod Graves is a whole other matter ;)

Well there may be a number of people smarter than Josh Byrnes on this board -- just not about baseball. Anyway, I think he's trying to get fired.

I'm sorry, but anyone who bought the notion we were ever a contender this year deserves all the disappointment they're going to get.

I wouldnt call that "band wagoning"

This team is on a very short leash with all of its problems these days. It's OK for fans to be pissed at them. They are causing more aneurysms than euphoric states.

I have been reading and posting on this board since it opened and there are some who are smarter than Josh Byrnes. You have ripped Kerr and deservedly so, but what Sarver did in hiring Kerr is the same thing JB has done with Hinch. AJ was hired with absolutely no managerial experience. I know I am not the only one who believes hiring AJ was the correct move. I would of preferred Gibson or Hale.

I hope Hinch succeeds and gets this team to the playoffs, but if this club does not win and it shows no progress, AJ will lose the respect from the players. It's like in any business, if your boss was hired with no experience and does not do a good job, you are not going to have much faith in him or her.

Right now I don't have a lot of faith in JB but I hope he can make some trades before the deadline to improve this team. Players I would expect to be on the trading block are Davis, Tracy and Rausch. I would believe if they think they can't re-sign Webb, they would listen to offers. I think they hold onto him at least until next July. Others who I wouldn't be surprised to see gone are CoJack, Lopez and Eric Byrnes. Byrnes has that big contract with a no-trade, so I doubt he leaves.

Like I mentioned before, win series and that starts with victories the next two games. The wild card is what this team has to focus on.

This is a message board where people post their opinions, and I respect everyone's, even if they don't agree with me. I like how everyone in this forum can keep it mostly civil, unlike the Politics/Religion and somewhat the Suns board. We wouldn't be posting if we were not such die-hard fans. Peace :)

I think you and DWKB could do a better job than JB has. I believed this team was a contender based on thinking the young guys were going to improve. I really believe if Dunn was on this team, the offense would be better. I know he wanted more money but winning makes things better. Signing Young to that contract based on one decent year was a bad decision. They had time to wait to offer him a contract, but they acted to hastily.

As for this year, I am waiting for this team to have one big winning streak and get back into wild card contention. :)

I don't know why Rauch continues to get the ball. He's an out of control dumpster fire.

I was at the game and the team as a whole with a few exceptions simply lacks confidence. I put that on the managing and whoever else is supposed to be developing these guys. What happened to that swagger that we had from October 2007 - April 2008?
