Either way, sure seems as though Palmer wants to win. Plus, probably felt that he owed it to the Cards because of the timing of his injury after signing that huge contract (obviously not his fault for the injury). So pleased to see this happen to get better FA's

Carson is the effing man. I really have little patience with people who bash the guy.

Releasing Sandlein is what's freeing up extra space for Orakpo. Palmer restructure showed up on spotrac just before FA.

As for 2016, Palmer will/can restructure his salary and roster bonus just like this year. At some point though he's going to be a big hit.

They didn't finalize the restructure until today. Spotrac may have been forecasting it, but it just got done today.

You guys understand that Palmer restructuring has zero to do with him wanting to win. He's not taking a less pay. He's getting his money sooner than he would have if he didn't. It helps the team, but anyone would do it. Not knocking Palmer, but it doesn't really say much about him wanting to win (which I really don't doubt).

Exactly, it's not a pay cut. It just changes the way he gets the money.

Why can't you all just let us believe Carson is a saint. The last time we had a saint at QB we went to the Super Bowl!
